Help I cant find where Java is installed.
I installed Suns Java but I don't know how to find where it installed to.
Can someone tell me how to find it? Someone told me to do a
Find -name java -print
But all I got was a message saying I had mail. When I looked in the mail it
was a log with a bunch of jibberish. Any clue what to do now?

question regarding ffonts
...the stupidity of this question. I
recently installed Wine from RPM. I run Fedora core1, and began trying to
run variopus .exe files that I got from various places (mostly trial
versions of software but also quick time). What i found is that the
programs seem to run but the fonts are complete jibberish. (like weird
arabic or greek symbols instead of roman script). What am i doing wrong??

Win2k-Pro and MacOS X
I have a MacOS X server and I am trying to get it to connect to the Samba

else. Keeps stating user/pass incorrect. I don't know if there are any Users
out there can point me in the correct place or not. One suggestion I was

Hello people,
Went to IRC and zoa helped a bit by saying me to
Do a insmod zaptel and insmod wcusb
When I did the insmod zaptel it worked fine, but when I did the wcusb it

/public content security
...ron. Now its true that these are not immediately available to the
public, however, if someone knows the name of the files that were
uploaded, can they be retreived directly from the public/comics/id/
directory?
One possible solution I thought of was to rename the file uploaded
with random jibberish, and simply hide the image from the author untill
it is authorized. Please give your thoughts on this.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Rosetta Stone Microphone Detection
Honestly, you guys are speaking jibberish. I have no idea what all that coding and stuff is, but I do know how I solved my problem without all the extra programs.
I found the answer. Rosetta Stone has a problem detecting the mics if the speaker input is not in some way connected to the mic. I'm not exactly sure how it works, but I don...

one for your filters
Some !@$#@@# in the Czech Republic used one of our SIP accounts to place
four thousand calls to what appears to be a toll number in Zimbabwe last
night. Filter 82.150.165.5.
A more overriding problem for me is how do we know what *destinations* to
filter so this idea of war dialing a toll number is something we can
cutoff before it gets to our upstream provider? Is there some collected

Holiday Gift Perl Script for US Holiday Dummy Regressors
...##### END CODE ########
I use this to create dummy regressors for US holidays that I throw in a list
of regressors. I normally work with weekly data but this will generate daily
entries also. Enjoy and that you to the R-Help list. If you are not a perl
user this will more then likely be a bunch of jibberish. Please see the
"use" lines for needed CPAN modules.

How verbose should NUT be by default?
Hello all,
During discussion of https://github.com/networkupstools/nut/issues/1782
me and Greg uncovered a diametral difference of opinion about the verbosity
of NUT programs in general, and of `upsmon -K` (checking for POWERDOWNFLAG
during shutdown integration) in particular.
