cluster indices
Hi-
I'd like to apply some of the cluter indices, using 'clustindex' in the
cclust package, but using output from hierarchical clustering using
'hclust' in the mva package.
The two packages use a different format for storing the results of
clustering; has anyone coerced one into the other?
Thanks!

Error in rename uidlist while fetching through pop3
...caddy dovecot: POP3(kim): file_dotlock_replace(/Users/
kim/Maildir/dovecot-uidlist) failed: Input/output error
Is this a known problem, and/or is there a known way to recover from
such a situation? I'm managed to throw out the uidlist, but that
means they get a whole dump of new mail.

Error while Mounting
...the kernels built in OCFS2 modules, not using from source.
I can mount my iscsi volume on either node individually, but when I attempt
to mount two nodes, I get the following error. (To confirm, I have 2 nodes
setup in the config file, and the filesystem set to a maximum of 4 nodes)
The error is JDB: no valid journal superblock found
I have searched high and low for this, but wasn't able to come up with
anything as to why I get this. This error will occur on either node.

Polycom firmware: split vs. combined
http://downloads.polycom.com/voice/voip/sip_sw_releases_matrix.html
Howdy, all. What's the difference between "split" and "combined"
firmware, which can be seen at the above link? I've googled to no avail,
I'm afraid.
Thanks!

Something other than dotlock for uidlist locking?
...upported for locking
of dovecot-uidlist. And I don't see any settings in the config file
for it.
As it turns out, dotlocks are very slow on my system, due to their
implementation via hardlinks.
Would it be possible to support other locking mechanisms for locking
of the uidlist file?

connecting 66 analog phones to asterisk - hardware suggestions
Hi, I am looking to connect 66 analog phones to an asterisk box. I was
thinking of a Xorcom astribank 32port (2 of them and another 8 port).
this is because the phones have no near connection to an ip network,
so replacing the phones in favor of voip phones+network cabling is
kinda out of the question.
In your experience, will these units support all the phones talking at
the same time with

On Solaris x86, does zpool (or anything) support PATA (or SATA) IDE

Date/Time format and syntax
Hi,
Just wondering how I get both the current date and time to display here
(so far I can only get the date OR the time):
@tblregisteredphone.txtregisterdatetime = Date.today
Also, how can I change the format of the date and time from:

to
2006-04-04 12:04:00
??
I''m sure it''s very simple, I just don''t know how

RE: [OT] Re: Getting ext3 up and running
I referred to the entry
rootfs / rootfs rw 0 0
in the output of "cat /proc/mounts", that is not really very much explicative, due to the setting "auto" in /etc/fstab
and to the fact that file system had has_journal flag and no ext3 module was mounted.
But I was wrong: I think that if you have an ext3 fs and you mount it as ext2, you continue to see the has_journal flag with

embedding R?
My apologies if this is a FAQ, I searched the mailing list archives before
posting.
Background: I am a long time user of SPlus, and a recent user of R. My
work normally involves converting the raw output of something interesting
into data to be analyzed in S/R, for which I use Perl extensively. I then
import the data into S/R, perform the analyses I need, dumping the values
into a new file,

It gets past waiting for /dev/md0 to appear.
