Vinculate tty1 or tty7 to domU
Hi.
Im looking how to vinculate directly the dom0 tty1 or tty7 to my domU.
The idea is provide to the sysadmin a "direct Access" to the domU.

How to disable tls on CentOS 5 with Xen 3.3.1?
Hi:
I downloaded Xen 3.3.1 source from xen.org, compiled and installed it on CentOS 5. At first boot into xen, I got an error message about tls and told me to use "mv /lib/tls /lib/tls.disabled" to disable it. I issued that command after the first boot. And also tried to remove that directory to /root.
But after that, I still got the same error message about tlsĀ when booting into Xen.

what''s correct way of shrinking LVM based domU?
Hi all
I want to shrink one of my LVM based domU''s, but don''t quite know how to
do it.
I have searched the Wiki & HOWTO''s, and they all show you how expand /
enlarge a LVM based domU, but not shrinking it.
So, I stopped (destroyed) the domU, and then resized it as follows:
lvresize /dev/data/cpanel1 -L10GB (It was 100GB), but when I a started
it up again, I

Under my domU i have installed kernel-xen (since it is needed ) , and edited
my grub menu to use the installed kernel.
My grub menu file in domU looks like:

Wich tuned profile for Dom0 and DomU
Hi
wich tuned profile are the best for dom0 and domU?
There are virt-host and virt-guest profiles for kvm, should I use them?
If yes, should I use in domU ever virt-guest or is for example
network-throughput profile better for a nfs/samba fs server inside domU
better?

Also, i tried building a 64bit HV on a 32bit dom0 but it failed, is it not

xen - which version is installed?
Morning all,
I have a doubt on what''s the xen version installed in my dom0.
If I list the rpm installed (yum list | grep xen), version is
3.0.3-64.el5_2.9 (thus 3.0.3).
On the other hand if I inquiry xm directly with "xm info" I get:
xen_major : 3
xen_minor : 1
xen_extra : .2-92.1.18.el5
Cheers,
N.

& (shift + 6) produces K
'' produces B
Everything else seems to be correct. But this means I can''t produce

[PATCH] Change default cpufreq governor to ondemand
Back in c/s 18950 the default cpufreq governor was set to userspace (it
had previously been performance). However, since there is no supplied
userspace program or script that will change the frequency this is at
best a no-op. Worse, on some hardware with some BIOS revisions, this
actually sets the CPUs running at their lowest frequency rather than
their highest and there is a corresponding
