Problem to logon after join LDAP/SAMBA domain
Hi all, I'm using SAMBA with LDAP as my PDC but after I join a workstations Windows XP to the domain, I can't authenticate any user with this workstation, It gives the fallowing error when I press ctrl+alt+del and try to logon: "The system can't authenticate the user. you can write your own software mixer that can decode MP3 on the PS2 so I can't see why you can't do that with ogg, however, even mp3 is processor intensive and programers are not going to give up that much processor power which will decrease or detract from the rest of the game. Installing onto Windows
Since this is a standalone server. Change map to guest = bad user to map to guest = bad password put the 2 pc's hostnames in the /etc/hosts file on the samba server. Stop and start samba. And it helps if In smb.conf : workgroup = WORKGROUP and workgroup in windows are the same. Can you access based on \\ip\share and \\hostname\share ? Greetz, Louis >
