Trouble with banking software on Samba share
...ill work. However, every time I click to query the database record further, the software comes back with an error message that it can't find a needed DLL file. As you will see below, it really isn't a DLL file missing . . . Here is what I see in a packet capture from Ethereal when I initiate the second query. From client to server: NT Create AndX Request, Path: \ITI\PREMIER\PRM1101.EXE\2 From server to client: NT Create AndX Response, Error: STATUS_NOT_A_DRIECTORY Now, I don't know why the software adds the \2 at the end when you do the second query, but somehow it does...

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] no-alias generated as result of restrict function arguments
...an explicit argument whether interprocedural analysis is being done and restrict the tests for that, but I am leaving this out as it is currently unnecessary. I am also not doing any simplification for NoAlias calls. Unlike alias analysis, I can think of valid use cases for malloc/free/malloc conditions where the results of the two mallocs is equal and correct prediction of the result is desirable. Modifying Package Data
The bio.infer package contains a data frame /usr/lib/R/library/bio.infer/data/itis.ttable.rda that needs to be modified. After loading the bio.infer package and attaching the data frame with the data() function, I wrote the data frame to a text file. After adding another row to the data frame I applied read.table() to create a data frame, but it's in my pwd, not the R li...

question on the signature of malloc
Hi all, consider the following function from Core.cpp in LLVM 9.0.0: LLVMValueRef LLVMBuildMalloc(LLVMBuilderRef B, LLVMTypeRef Ty, const char *Name) { Type* ITy = Type::getInt32Ty(unwrap(B)->GetInsertBlock()->getContext()); Constant* AllocSize = ConstantExpr::getSizeOf(unwrap(Ty)); AllocSize = ConstantExpr::getTruncOrBitCast(AllocSize, ITy);

Driver for Socomec ITyS UPS (2000VA)
Hello, I have tried to use the blazer_ser driver to interface with my UPS. nut is not able to detect the UPS. I have not been able to find much info regarding Socomec UPS support in nut. Socomec does publish a description of the serial protocol for these UPS's, which can be found here: http://www.socomec.com/download-jbus-modbus.html(select UPS OTHER for device model, 1-5KVA for device power

Hi Ryan, > Does anyone happen to know why the ustack() doesn''t show lex, > yak, main > and _start? A quick look with the source browser seems to indicate that _rt_boot is code executed very early in the lifetime of your process by ld.so.1. What seems to be happening is that ld.so.1 has allocated some memory before DTrace got control of your process - long before main() was

Samba 4.9.4 drops group write permission on files (at file access time) with 'vfs objects' enabled
We just noticed an interesting bug/misfeature on our Samba 4.9.4 servers (FreeBSD 11.2). The same effect is also visible on Samba 4.8.3 on CentOS 7. Start with a directory that looks like this: root at filur00:/tmp/test # ls -la total 50 drwxrwx--- 2 peter86 uf-iti-all 3 Feb 27 11:27 . drwxrwxrwt 10 root wheel 56 Feb 27 16:41 .. -rw-rw---- 1 mikha02 uf-iti-all 6 Feb 27 11:27 hello.txt Ie, no ACLs, just “pure” Unix permission bits. Share it as usual via smb.conf. With a smb.conf file with any “vfs objects” enabled (doesn’t matter which, or...

[LLVMdev] m_Not Pattern Question

If I have code like this: if (match(B, m_Select(m_Value(), m_ConstantInt(0), m_ConstantInt(-1)))) { if (match(C, m_Not(m_Value(B)))) return SelectInst::Create(cast<User>(B)->getOperand(0), D, A); and we match, the program fails during the
