I have a new dell t105(opty 1210's with 4 gigs of ram..sata hdd's and sata dvd-rom). I can bot to the Cent 5 64 bit dvd fine but once it asks where the install image is i tell it cd-rom..then it rejects the dvd spits it out and tells me it's not there. the same happens on 32 bit. I have downloaded centos5 twice now, md5 verified..and even burned at 1x(that took forever). Any

I have a broadcom bcm5722 and a dual intel pro/1000 pt nic in a dell t110. The setup sees the cards and i put them into automatic mode. After the install no cards are detected at all. Astaro 8.01 detects and utilizes all of these cards just fine. I have also tried ubuntu server 10.04 lts and they work fine. I'm curious if this is a bug with Centos 6?

I'm running a CentOS 3.4 box. According to yum, the OpenSSL 0.9.7a-33.15 package I have installed is the latest available. A check of the OpenSSL website shows 0.9.7g source being the latest. Is the CentOS 0.9.7a package patched to cover the same isues that the generic 0.9.7 source covers? If not, what's my recourse? Build it by hand? I'm having a problem booting Slackware 10.1 boot CD's as well as an isolinux image of my own. The system is a VIA Epia M10000 and the drive is an AOpen ISU-8424E CD/DVD writer. If I use a Toshiba CD-RW/DVD-ROM Drive SD-R2612 in place of the AOpen DVD writer, the cd boots fine and everything works as expected. What's the best course for further debugging of this problem? If your application behaves one way with a W2K server it should behave exactly the same with Samba. Indeed this is part of our test process. MS Word does indeed isue this warning against Samba 3.0.
