Cancor
...are structural coefficients and
therefore I multiplied them, the a's with
a%*%Sigma_xx, and the b's with
b%*%Sigma_yy,
but the results are nevertheless far from those of the cancor. Now, I
really don't know any more, how to interpret the xcoef and ycoef.
I am thanking you in advance.

[LLVMdev] LLVM,metadata for namespaces
...h generating metadata for namespaces.
I call createNameSpace (with correct arguments) and get DINameSpace .
But in IR file no metadata for namespace is generated.
Can you advice me please what is the problem?Have I integrate in some way
the DINameSpace I got with module or context?

Thank you,

[LLVMdev] Internal API Changes
...ts to use
DIBuilder::finalize() at the end of translation unit to complete debugging
information encoding"*
Does it mean that in the new version you defer emission of some debug
info until the translation is finished and this is a reason to use
DIBuilder::finilize?

Unable to fit model using “lrm.fit”
Hi,
I am running a logistic regression model using lrm library and I get the
following error when I run the command:
mod1 <- lrm(death ~ factor(score), x=T, y=T, data = env1)
Unable to fit model using ?lrm.fit?
where score is a numeric variable from 0 to 6.
LRM executes fine for the following commands:
mod1 <- lrm(death ~ score, x=T, y=T, data = env1)
mod1<- lrm(death ~

Users, Groups, etc.
...richard is a member of the
group 'dialout'. Is this sufficient to access and control port 'com1' ...
because if I lack permissions ... then even if there is a link from
dosdevices com1 to /dev/ttyS0 ...wine will not be able to access com1.
Any comments on this??

Serial Port Access Under Wine
...be sure that my name is included in the
cboxusers group ... and maybe this wine difficulty is a permission thing?
3 Are there some help files or logs which will tell me where the process is
going wrong? Using virtualbox and winXP is a bit of overkill for just 1
small program!!

Wine & Access to Com1 Port for Rig Control
...what I am missing is some direction to get my com1 port functioning
under wine. I have had a look at various resources for this ... but without
success. Can someone please direct me to the place where there is a simple
explanation of what to do to make this work.
Thanks

Com1 Setup in Wine (Windows)
...#39;t access the port because
winme has not set it up correctly? I have the symbolic link in dosdevices,
and I am already a member of dialup and uucp ... so that should be right ...
IF wine has the comport setup correct.
Still looking to control my rig through my ONLY com port.

My Problems with Rig Control Over Com1 (bbtrx1.exe & grig + hamlibraries)
...ere is a symlink in place ... from Com1 in /dosdevices ... to /dev/ttyS0.
My conclusions are that the port is owned by root but that user 'richard"
should be able to access the port ... and that no other program appears to
have hijacked the port.
Any more ideas please??
