Cannot copy file to Samba share
...(e.g. a 100MB clonezilla live iso). I've tried putting a different network card in the system, and that didn't help. group and user permissions issue.
I have browsed through loads of archive material and cant seem to find anywhere where this exact issue has been posted. am using samba 2.28 set up as an NT domain, there are no problems with the general configuration. My issue is witb samba not following the permissons I have set on files in a shared directory. Purpose: set up a directory for students and teachers where students can leave files

Sage Accounts Performance Issues (Solved)
...arches and reports was improved by a factor of at least 10 - significantly more for some operations. Getting here has taken turned up logging, much Googling, some Wireshark packet examination, etc. End result submitted in the hope of saving someone else some work. Samba 3 Windows 7 Temporary Profile on 2nd Login
...sible again to requiring a further 2 or 3 minute delay. After a couple of days of googling and testing, this is sending me a bit crazy. routing question
So far I have been used to using linux to provide simple routing from my network to others using commands such as ip route add 192.168.1.0/24 via 192.168.0.4 etc and it has all worked perfectly. I also use smoothwall GPL to provice vpn services, however I have hit on a problem and am not at all clear on the way in which to proceed.
