I've found another strange issue that prevented me to test this solution.
VMware ESXi is filtering out serial number information, together with
iManufacturer and iProduct.

Let me or Georg know if you want us to run any debug

the bcmcxp serial driver works fine and all my other

Is it a permissions issue? The NUT udev configuration file changes the
ownership and permissions to allow the NUT system user to write to the
UPS without root permissions, but it might also mean that you would
need to run lsusb as that user (or root).

Junda-tech
Hi,
I have an UPS with only the marking D1000 on it and it came with
Junda-Tech's UpsMate.
Its USB id is 3344:0025, which is apparently a microprocessor.
I've could get some of the HID interactions as described on the website,
but there are some outstanding.
Junda-Tech does not respond to any queries.
Does anybody else have the same or a similar UPS with more information?

OMRON BX35F
Hi nut-upsdev,
I have just got OMRON BX35F. Only object
files and usage information is included.
Where should I start to help you to get it
supported? Any interest in supporting it at all?

I take it that this is evidence they don't follow the spec to the letter.
Here I get the same output with, or w/o the leading sudo.
Thank you.

centos 6.5, but unfortunately I see no support. Or, I am doing something
wrong.
According to LKDDb (Linux Kernel Driver DataBase), the correct driver is
"CONFIG_USB_NET_AX8817X: ASIX AX88xxx Based USB 2.0 Ethernet Adapters"
but obviously, I've grabbed a non matching "iProduct", because mine is
obviously 0x0072 (see lsusb below) and the driver lists 0x0056.
From the LKDDb:
vendor: 0df6 ("Sitecom Europe B.V."), product: 0056 ("LN-031 10/100/1000
Ethernet Adapter")
