...ant to embed the GLIM/mixed model analysis in a stratified resampling bootstrapping loop. Very easy to implement in R, moderately painful to do in SAS. Can anybody give me a lead, or some guidance, about getting this job done in R? Thanks in advance for your help. Regards, Will Grove | Iohannes Paulus PP. smbpasswd + ldap questions
I would like to have sync'd Unix and Samba passwords. My Unix passwords are stored in OpenLDAP for uniformity across machines and services. I have some problems with the standard solutions to this problem though: * if I have Samba authenticate from OpenLDAP directly (using the smbPassword attribute), then I get sync'ing problems when the password is changed via normal Unix means. Static WINS entries
Is it possible to manually add entries to the WINS database on a Samba nmbd running as a WINS server? Alternativily could I get the WINS nmbd to use DNS for hostsnames it can't resolve using it's own database. I have several NT servers that seem to just vanish from the db after a while. One of my 2.2.3a boxes also did this for a pastime. Whilst I can do nbtstat -RR on NT or restart

Everything works fine, however, everytime that Windows NT or 2000 clients log onto the domain they get a message stating that their password has expired and asking them if they want to change it. It doesn't matter if you answer Yes and change it or answer No and just continue on, the message
