Knowing when a user is logged in
I am looking into creating a website similar to a chat program. I know
when the user logs in. However, the user can log out any of the
following ways:
Logout link - This one is easy to handle
User closer browser window
User hits the back button
User loses his/her internt connection.
Is there a way within rails to handle the latter three user actions?
Thanks!

No Ringback, only on 1 SIP provider
...al and
International, both via SIP. The problem I am having is that the users dont get ringback (ringing
indication) when they dial International numbers, yet it works perfectly when they dial Local
numbers. Yet, to test, from a hardphone plugged into Asterisk2, I get ringback, so its not the
Interntional provider, it must be the SIP trunk from Asterisk1 to Astrisk2.

FW: Installing BRugs
A funny thing happened when I wanted a student of mine to install Brugs.
Using the InstallPackages in the windows version, firts gives an erro, but trying again works flawlessly.
R version is 2.7.0 on WinXP.
Any explanation?

Not Dialing 9
When I set up my Asterisk box at home I didn't want to have to dial 9
to dial off premises, so I gave all my local phones three digit
extensions with this format: 1[1,0]*. My thought is that there are no
area codes that start with 0 or 1, so if I use those numbers, I can
create 20 local extensions that can be dialed with 3 digits, and not
have to use a timeout when dialing long distance. If
