Zapata, Junghanns Card and a leading 0 on inbound calls
...ible to answer missed call
lists. I'm using the 0 as the prefix for outside lines.
I've experimented a little with the prefix settings in zapata.conf, but
without success:
pridialplan=national
;prilocaldialplan=unknown
;pridialplan = unknown
;prilocaldialplan = dynamic
nationalprefix = 00
internationalprefix = 000
Is there a way to debug the ISDN messages coming on my D-channel, like
it is shown with misdn? I would like to see the dialplan settings coming
from the Network side.
best regards

Problem with two hfc-s cards
Hi!
I have installed two hfc-s cards to handle my pstn calls. I use mISDN with capi,
so capi.conf is edited. I have tested both separate and cards are working well.
But they are not working together. It seems that when i set up settings for the
other card:
;capi.conf:
[general]
nationalprefix=0
internationalprefix=00
rxgain=0.8
txgain=0.8
[interfaces]
msn=50
incomingmsn=*
controller=1
softdtmf=0
context=demo
devices=2
msn=50
incomingmsn=*
controller=2
softdtmf=0
context=demo
devices=2
only controller 1 is working. capiinfo shows me both cards properly. when i
tried this capi.conf configuration:

PRI dialplan/prefix
hi.
could somebody explain how exactly the following parameters
in zapata.conf work:
pridialplan
prilocaldialplan
internationalprefix
nationalprefix
localprefix
privateprefix
unknownprefix
the wiki & comments doesn't quite explain them. and
phone companies are absolutely no help.
i've setup systems in the US & China with trial & error
until it works. now i'm setting up a system in Japan
and have hard time...

Asterisk 1.0.5-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RC5 caller id?
....
It doesn't work untill I set SetCIDNum(0${PRI_NETWORK_CID}) in
extensions.conf
which I found in the wiki:
http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-print.php?page=Asterisk+zaphfc
Is this intended behaviour, or still a bug?
It does work but it only shows one zero even though I have
nationalprefix = 0
internationalprefix = 00
in zapata.conf
I guess it should show a double zero because there is already a zero
prefix in the SetCIDNum(0${PRI_NETWORK_CID})?
I haven't received any international calls yet but will they not show up
with only one zero now?
Cheers!

Q: PRI leading 0 (area access code) or 00 (country access code) missing on incoming callerid
hi,
on our incoming E1-PRI from german telco Arcor the leading 0 for the
(area access code in europe) and the 00 (country accescode in europe)
are missing on incoming callerids.
only prepending a single 0 is not the solution as suggested by some
writers on this list, because there is no way to differ between national
and international callerids and it's not possible to make the decission

...ney, maybe someone else
already has done so, and could tell me if it is wortwhile. I only need
four B-channels, so two HFC cards should be all I need.
Any help, pointers and tips are greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time.

chan_capi
Hi chan_capi users,
this thing is awesome, no delays like in modem_i4l!
Plus, it got those nice ISDN features.
Here's my question:
Does my service provider (Deutsche Telekom) have to provide me with
these Services (CD, ECT)?
(the Readme in 0.2.5 says "does not relay on service CD")
I know, that I don't have CFU,CFNR,CFBS (which I would have to order
seperately).

Thank you!
