Wierd Errors...
...this a "one error message for all errors" issue? That was the error message that I got when I tried to get Wes's machine to connect to the plotter. When I tried to get it to "Map Network Drive" it gave me a message that said: "An error occurred in networkprovider InterDrive NT. Error 1208. PCNFSD not accessible on remote server. Contact your system administrator Or Try logging in as username NOBODY." 'Ah h'ain't never seen no error lahk that before... Any ideas? I appreciate all the help that y'all are willing to give this poor dumb b...

file access problems
we're testing a new NFS product for our mainframe system (Conectivitiy Systems TCP/IP for VSE) and have successfully mapped a virtual drive to our unix system (AIX 4.2). We use Samba (v.1.9.18p2) to share files with the Windows 95 and Windows NT systems in the building. We have attempted to map the "mapped" drive from the mainframe via Samba. ...ng. If they're started via inetd, you'll have to comment out nmbd in inetd.conf, signal inetd to re-read its config file, then kill nmbd. Add the Samba machine to the domain with smbpasswd -j DOM -r DOMPDC. Reinstate nmbd if necessary. Samba itself is great, much better than the nasty Interdrive NFS I intend it to replace.
