Question regarding mosaicplot
...mosaicplot(stoc ~ q9r + segca, data=tmp2, color=T, main="Big title") Error in model.frame(formula, rownames, variables, varnames, extras, extranames, : invalid variable type I'm probably stupid and missed something simple in the manual (and wouldn't like to be flamed if insinuating that, may be... a bug ? The sad state of samba 4 adaption for home/small business routers.
...t. "simple logic" my foot. Go peddle your lies elsewhere please. The *only* vendor that dropped Samba over GPLv3 was Apple, who have religious objections to *any* GPL software, and are busily re-writing anything containing it. As is their right of course. I'm not letting these slimy insinuations go unchallenged.

I promise I will not repeat something more than once -- at the most, making only a 2nd post to "clarify" and if I didn't do a "good enough job" by then, I'll leave it be _regardless_. Your opinion is noted. But also note that someone else insinuated there was only *1* troll. I like holding everyone to the same standard. -- Bryan J. Smith mailto:b.j.smith at ieee.org

Remove a materially failed device from a Btrfs "single-raid" using partitions
...139.73GB used 132.02GB path /dev/sda3 *** Some devices missing Many tutorials I found about it never mention the simple deletion of a non-remountable disk in case of a "single-raid" (where the datas doesn''t matter, I''ve used the only "d=single" option, insinuating "m=mirrored"). I''ve read this page http://www.howtoforge.com/a-beginners-guide-to-btrfs until "8 Adding/Deleting Hard Drives To/From A btrfs File System" section. But this page want to make me mount the drive, but it''s dead. When my Btrfs partition is...

FYI, I think it is poor form to insinuate such things when you clearly haven't made an effort to dig back and understand the all of prior discussions we've had in this area (hint: we've discussed and explicitly decided to not implement the semantics you're suggesting). Of course, fresh ideas are always welcome but I sugg...

multi-server rails deployment
I''m building an app in rails that will be deployed on 3 different servers but am not sure the best way to deploy it. The app is something like Google Adwords (an online advertising program, essentially). ServerA is the Administration server ServerB is the Ad server (feeds ad requests to affiliates) ServerC is the Click server (handles incoming clicks from our affiliate sites) All 3

blktap2 and qcow2 images
Hi There, I''ve been trying to get this to work for the last couple of days, but found no information on the internet that would help. Essentially, a tap-ctl opencommand with a qcow2 image does not work (error code 2) and produces the following line in syslog: tap-ctl: tap-err:tap_ctl_open: open failed, err -2 I have attached a shell script that reproduces the problem on my machine. Unless I am misremembering, there has never been a successful case in such conditions presented / hinted / insinuated / suggested in this Syslinux Mailing List. My point - still hoping to be wrong - is that at this point this set of conditions cannot be met, and that there has been no developer, with the necessary knowledge / skills, actually attempting to achieve a successful result. At this point, some...

Tutorial Introduction to R
...maths.anu.edu.au/~johnm/r-notes/r-notes.pdf The best way to access and print it is with Adobe Acroread Reader. I am making it available "for personal study and classroom use". It is a pdf version of a Word 95 file. A code that prints as ??, and which I have been unable to remove, has insinuated itself into the footer. Data files, with one or two exceptions those not available from the existing libraries, and ready for entering with source(), are in the same directory as r-notes.pdf . I will put the scripts up as a separate file in a few days. Details of mistakes, and comments, are...

chanspy does not pull the call back to asterisk after a reinvite
Hello all, I am allowing a reinvite between a snom 320 phone and a SIP gateway to take load off my Asterisk server. When I put the caller on hold, for example, Asterisk successfully reinserts itself into the rtp stream to play music on hold to the caller, but when I do a chanspy Asterisk does not seem to pull the call back. If I am spying on a channel when the call build up happens the reinvite

Yeah, my servers blocked them, no harm done. But I doubt everyone subscribing to this list is runn...
