Dial from php
Hi all, Here is the situation. Linux workstation access a web page on a web server (not the one running Asterisk). From that web page, we need to initiate a dial-out on the Asterisk server and once the call is connected, it must ring on the agent's hard phone. Any pointers about how to initiale an Asterisk call from a remove web server? Thanks, Andre Courchesne

The Win2K machine (xxx.xxx.xxx.51) had two IP addresses assigned to it initiall (.51 and .2), and we removed .2 this morning, w/OUT restarting the win2k) machine. What I would like to know is what allowed the apache machine to continue retrying the connection, but the other machines (running a java application updating files on .51) to stop working (df -h just hung the ter...

Re: Help needed in simulating libvirt
Hi, Thanks for the response. I've used the URI: "test+ssh://<ipaddress>/default" and the connection is successful and with that connection I issued getCapabilities and its result is attached. I'm not sure how is result xml generated by the files in the /examples folder. Will you please explain how is this xml generated. Also my client is not going to modified. My client

OpenSSH-2.2.0p1 cores in openssl-0.9.6's bn_print.c
...em I'm seeing. I don't know if what I'm seeing is a known bug (didn't see it anywhere on the web site). I get a core dump when trying to connect to another machine. It cores in BN_bn2dec in CRYPTO_malloc, all in openssl's cryptolib, but I think it's because openssh is not initiallizing the openssl malloc machine (there is a comment in the openssl source about calling CRYPTO_malloc_init, but it's in the SSLEAY CHANGES. . .). Just FYI: It's a sparc running Solaris 8. Will provide further details upon request, but the actual bug is not calling OPENSSL_free on the retu...

dmidecode Output
Hey Y'all, How much can I trust the output of dmidecode? The manual that came with my MB says that my MB can support up to 2 Gb of DDR2 RAM. dmidecode seems tell me that I can load up to 8 Gb on this MB. As 4 Gb DDR2 sticks cost about $100 each I figured maybe I should ask, what's the chances that I can plug in two 4 Gb sticks in this machine and actually have it work? [root at

You write the XML yourself to describe the initiall characteristics of the host scenario you are trying to simulate. eg the XML file describes what guests you want to pre-create, the capabilities of the host, the storage pools, storage volumes, etc, etc. The examples/xml/test directory shows some illustrations of how todo this. > Also my client...

Security question for newbie
Hi, I am using Samba version 3.051 in an Active Directory setting with Windows 2000 server. Everything is working rather well with regards to file-sharing and authentication. However, the one thing that I noticed that I haven't been able to fix quickly with SWAT is the prevention of browsing the Linux file-system with users such as 'nobody' or 'bin'. For example... The 'force group' line has been added because the logs showed that david, for instance was accessing as david:david, and I wondered if the group was part of the problem. /Public was initiall anne:users, though I have now changed it to root:users. Any suggestions for troubleshooting would be gratefully received. Anne -- Registered Linux User No.293302 Have you visited http://twiki.mdklinuxfaq.org yet?

[LLVMdev] dyld: lazy symbol binding failed: fast lazy bind offset out of range
...yld is calling. Somehow the initializer gets to: >>>> #4 0x0000000100f3b2c0 in Json::Value::maxUInt () >>>> which is calling a function in another dylib for the first time. When you call a function in another dylib, you actually jump through a (lazy) pointer. The pointer initially points to a helper which loads an index parameter specifying which function to bind, then jumps into dyld. Dyld is erroring because the index is out of range. >>>> >>>> Either: >>>> 1) The binary is corrupt. You can check that by running: >>>> dyl...

Unreasonable syntax error
http://r.789695.n4.nabble.com/file/n3612530/PSC.r PSC.r Hi all, I just wrote a program in R by editing it in Microsoft Word and then pasting into the text editor of R. The above is the file.
