Good morning, i'm drawing a barplot (data are stored in a matrix,nrow=3,ncol=10). So i get 10 groups each containing 3 sub-bars. I need to change the range of the y-axis when i plot respectively the first and the other two sub-bars in each group. I can't manage. Could you help me? Thank you. Angela

Random Effects for One-Way Anova
Hello to All. I'd want to use a one-way ANOVA. This means that I have only one factor, with, lets say, 5 levels. I made a dataframe, called "DATA", with two Columns: A, that is my response, and it is "class numerical". B, that defines the different levels of my factor, and it is "class factor". If I want to use a fixed effect model, I know that the formula I have

Corrupted mboxes with v2.2.4, posix_fallocate and GFS2
...the performance penalty with falling back to direct block appends seems small. At least a size check (and possible truncation) after the mbox_sync_file_updated call above should probably be added. I thought that the issue would be anyway worth bringing to your attention. Thanks. Francesco Prelz INFN - Sezione di Milano

dealing with a messy dataset
Is this a fixed width format? If so, read.fwf() in base, or read_fwf() in the readr package will solve the problem. You may need to trim trailing spaces though.
