Thanks for the reply. I assumed the keys not working would be specific
to my straight-booting wish, but playing around with the suggestions
that you provided, I see it's indeed more

Oh! That could be it indeed. I'm wondering what could be monopolizing

I'm not sure that I understand.
Is there indeed such a public repository of the build scriptds / RPM
specs used by CentOS?
That would indeed be fascinating and useful

x-table package
Dear Sirs,
I would like to propose a (I believe) simple but useful enhancement to the xtable package.
The latest version of the xtable package doesn't accept "H" as a
possible table.placement argument. Indeed, the "H" placement would be
very useful if one wanted to use the float latex package. I guess that
many users would be very happy of having this further

type traits bug in clang 4.0.0?
Dear all,
I found this strange behavior, when inspecting some legacy build that did
not compile after an upgrade of several libraries and clang:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/44846377/what-is-the-reason-behind-instable-type-traits
I got no conclusive answer, but a comment that indicates that this might
indeed be a bug in clang. Since I am neither a C++ expert nor familiar with
clang, I

head.matrix can return 1000s of columns -- limit to n or add new argument?
Thanks Martin and Peter,
I agree that we can be careful and narrow and still see a nice improvement
in behavior. While Herve's point is valid and I understand his frustration,
I think staying within the matrix vs c(matrix, array) space is the right
scope for this work in terms of fiddling with inheritance.
As another point, I don't know off the top of my head of any other classes

What is /etc/subuid ?
Dear Experts,
Could someone enlighten me about the following file:
/etc/subuid
? This file appears to be owned by "setup" package. This is CentOS 7
system, and until now these files if existed were never changed. Today I
have added user quite routine way, by doing
/usr/sbin/groupadd -g 4500 [username]
/usr/sbin/useradd -g [username] -u 4500 -c "User Name, email at domain"
