...can, as administrator, change the System Properties->Network Indentification->Properties->Member of... to remove the Domain assignment, and restart the computer. This is pretty lame, though, because it's tedious, extremely slow, and you lose your old login and desktop -- which is very inconvient. It would be nice if there were mobile profiles to handle this, but I can't find it. Even better, I could stay in the Domain, but the machines in the home workgroup would simply be accessible through some setting. Thanks in advance for any help, -d

I just tried running tc_mmap.rb and noticed that something rather curious seems to happen. The call to Mmap.new in setup seems to cause the test suite to just exit without ever actually running the tests. I reduced the test suite to just this bit of code. This works, although the final test (TypeError) does not pass - no exception in thrown. This is 1.8.1 on Win2k. Any ideas? Dan PS - I

The program winedevice.exe has caused a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvience. I'm running Macromedia Flash 8 when this error occurs. I'm also unable to run the "Uninstall Wine Software" program. When I click it, nothing happens. This happens with wine 1.1.22 and 1.1.23. Any ideas? Thx! FYI.... There is a bu in the configure script for 2.2.5 that prevents the script from locating the start_tls function in the OpenLDAP 2.0.x libs. Apply this patch and rerun autoconf. Should fix it. ...el install, I dropped back to the 2.6.9-22SMP.EL kernel, where I still cannot load the module. I then removed the -34* kernel packages and reinstalled them, then booted into them. No dice. Just for fun, I cleared all iptables entries, and tried again. No dice. Short of a reload (which would be inconvient, given that the box is 100 miles away) I'm at a loss at what to look at next. Everything appears to be fine. The machine is a dual-Athlon box, SCSI, with selinux in permissive mode. Using "strace modprobe ip_conntrack_ftp" I get the results which are at the end of this message....

When i run the application theres something error PROGRAM ERROR then blah blah anyone help me how to configure this application:(

Anyway, I think there must be some simple way to do this but I can't seem to figure it out, and having users come over to type in their password is an inconvience(I can't even say something like net use x: \\nexus\public user=my username in order to use my password)... This is a directory that has a lot of commonly installed software, as well as drivers and other such things. Thanks in advance, David
