So, for the zero on 16/02/2007 and 15/02/2007, the 'inception' date would be 15/02/2007, because the day before, the signal was 1. Likewise, the 'inception' date for the signal 1 on 08/02/2007 and the five days prior, would be 03/02/2007. I need to create a structure of inception dates that would finally look as follows: -1 31/01/2007 -1 31/01...

Mount URL as cdrom/iso KVM/QEMU
Hi Folks, According to the examples in http://libvirt.org/formatdomain.html#elementsDisks it should be possible to mount an iso /url as a cdrom, the example given is: </disk> <disk type='network' device='cdrom'> <driver name='qemu' type='raw'/> <source protocol="http" name="url_path"> <host

mpi.h errors on Mavericks packages
...I am noticing that almost all of the mpi dependent packages do not compile on the CRAN repositories.... with the basic issue that it appears it can not find mpi installed: configure: error: "Cannot find mpi.h header file" I do not see any chatter about mpi issues in the lists since the inception of mavericks.. and possibly this question should go to Simon.. but in case I missed a discussion, or if anyone has any suggestions on how to proceed, or what might be missing from the Rmpi, npRmpi, etc. packages for compilation on Mavericks, it would be greatly appreciated if you could let me know....

Speex, ACELP, G.729
Hello Jean-Marc: I've been watching the speex development from its inception because I and several Tech Startup Connection members have a very important application for this voice encoding/decoding. Further, we are quite familiar with ACELP as implemented in G.729. As far as I know Speex is also ACELP ... yes/no? Question ... what do you see as the advantages of ACELP...

Log rotation and combining...
I have recently noticed that my dovecot-deliver.log is huge and wanted to start rotating it. So a couple of questions: 1. Can the dovecot-deliver.log be combined with the maillog, that gets rotated weekly? If it can be done, is it advisable? Since the inception of this particular server, the log file has been located in the /home/vmail directory. Is there a reason it shouldn?t be located in the /var/log directory with the maillog? 2. Separate from above, if I create a new logrotate script example as follows: # dovecot SIGUSR1: Re-opens the log files. /...

...addr=0x5 -msg timestamp=on So my best guess based on the logs is that http is simply being ignored when it is not set to primary, not sure if that is the desired behavior. "upstream testing"??
[Follow-ups set to gmane.linux.centos.general] My wife had been running CentOS 6.4 almost since its inception; then her PC broke down. We got a PC from System76, and Ubuntu turned out utterly unsuitable for us, as expected -- as bad for us as Gnome3. (I had previously bought a System76 net book (starling iirc), and immediately installed the then current Fedora; all has been well with that....

Should a Gem's dependencies be listed in the parent app's Gemfile?
I am working on a Gem that has several Gem dependencies of its own. The Gem''s .gemspec looks good (I think) and when "bundle install" is called from the parent app, it lists that it is indeed "Using" the Gem''s required Gems. I''ll refrain from an Inception analogy here ;) When I fire up the app and make a request, I get "uninitialized constant Authlogic" (this is one of the Gem''s dependencies). If I add "gem ''authlogic''" to the app''s Gemfile all is good. I was under the impression that a Gem...

Participation on Samba lists
...times, we know where it leads. So we're going to ban Luke from posting to the Samba Lists for three months, in the hope that he will re-focus his efforts on the project he created, and not re-hash old arguments. The Samba Team is proud of the open way we develop the Samba code base. Since the inception of the project in 1991 we have had a policy of open discussion among developers, users and other interested parties. We encourage anyone who wants to examine our commitment to openness to examine the public mailing list archives themselves. If anyone wants to examine the truth of what Luke says we...

[PATCH] Fix wrong NFS umount path
...on the net trying to reboot their NFS server and the like, in hope this errors goes away. It was also quite misleading that the mount point for the root FS in the initramfs is called /root. Having some Trouble Data Structures
...fector ID Sequence Expressed? [1,] 0001 345,567,678 1 (or 0). Is there a way then I can put more than one value in the cell like a list of values, or a way to put objects in a cell of a data frame, matrix or table etc. Almost an inception deal - data structures nested in a data structure? If I search for things like "insert list into matrix" I get results like how to turn one into another, which is not what I think I need to be doing. I have been considering having several data structures not nested in each other, somethi...

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Bugfix for missed dependency from store to load in buildSchedGraph().
...huge regions with tons of memory accesses well? Since you’ve taken the time to understand the algorithm, and are actively benchmarking, it would be great to take advantage of the opportunity to rewrite. Feel free to modify even the core DAG builder implementation, which hasn’t really changed since inception--way before my time. The alias-aware scheduling has been around long enough that it makes sense to redesign the core DAG builder code around it, rather than bolt it on. I agree, in its current form, the AA-aware logic is too hard to follow. Andy -------------- next part -------------- An HTML atta...

Squid question
I'm having issues getting squid to send traffic through a specific upstream gateway. I need for a MS WSUS server and a Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager to get through a squid proxy to get out to Microsoft and Symantec respectively to get MS patches and Symantec DAT files. The traffic needs to go through the squid proxy, through a firewall, and through an upstream McAfee gateway

Guest startup delay options ignored
Hi Folks, been searching around for a while on this and see similar issues reported going back a number of years without solution. The START_DELAY=(number) seems to be completely ignored in /etc/sysconfig/libvirt-guests which is unfortunate as it means everything starts at once without control. This is fine on NVMe based servers however on the older spinning disks the I/O is creating
