Test Environment Question
I have my master IMAP server running DC V1.0.10. The homedir and
INBOXdir are physically resident there and NFS exported (no caching) to
3 other machines. I have installed V1.1beta13 on one of them (which
thus accesses the homedir/INBOXdir remotely) and plan to have a limited
community test-drive it there. Are there any hazards or drawbacks in
doing this? While th...

MBOX to MAILDIR conversion
Thinking about going from mbox to maildir. Started with mbox way back
when but thinking about making the conversion. The main reason is that I
use rsync for backups and when these huge mailboxes are touched I have

Problem with v1.1.10
...users all lost access
to their mail because their home directories, as interpreted by
dovecot, moved from user at domain to user at user@domain.
The location of the home directory is given to dovecot for virtual
users using the static db as
uid=vmail gid=vmail home=/var/vmail/%u mail=maildir:~/Inboxdir
Were there any changes in this area that might have caused the problem?

Dovecot default inbox name?
I'm installing dovecot and migrating from mbox to maildir. I've read
several articles concerning this process but I can't seem to find the
answer to one particular question. What is the default name of the
inbox when using maildir format? I need to create this in advance for
each user and I don't know what dovecot is expecting for the inbox
directory name.
