imprints driver upload failure on 2.2.8a
I installed samba 2.2.8a and imprints 0.0.9b on a freshly up2date Redhat
8.0.
I tried to install a driver using:
install_printer_drivers.pl -host imprints.sourceforge.net 'HP LaserJet 8100'
The driver files were copied into the /etc/printers/W32X86. But samba
created another directory,
/etc/printers/W32X86/2 with uid and gid of nobody, nobody. It then reported
an "ERROR!" and

Printer installation with imprints package
Hi,
I have a samba 2.2.2 on HP-UX 11, serving a few printers. When I install
a new driver via win2000' printer properties dialogue it works fine.
When I try to do the same from unix with the imprints package, ist
screwed. The driver files get uploaded, but they don't register as an
installed driver, with rpcclient 'enumdrivers' I don't 'see' them.
When I set the

2.2.0 Alpha2 and print drivers
I began playing around with 2.2.0a2 yesterday. The text docs have
instructions for setting up the "print$" share and installing drivers for
client download. This involves browsing to the samba share from a W2K or NT
server, accessing the "printers" folder, and right clicking on each printer
to install drivers.
I've managed to get W2K/NT and Win98/95 drivers

Deleting certain observations (and their imprint?)
I'm manipulating a large dataset and need to eliminate some observations based on specific identifiers. This isn't a problem in and of itself (using which.. or subset..) but an imprint of the deleted observations seem to remain, even though they have 0 observations. This is causing me problems later on. I'll use the dataset warpbreaks to illustrate, I apologize if this isn't in

IMPRINTS: mkprintpkg.pl unable to expand microsoft cab file
Jerry,
Perhaps you could help me with a problem building a Samba print package.
I've downloaded the drivers files I need from HP. I run the appropriate
mkprintpkg.pl command, but it dies with the following output:
[root@tux designjet]# /usr/local/imprints/bin/mkprintpkg.pl
--name="hp1050c" --version=1.00

install_printer_drivers.pl and 2.2.4 issues
Hello -
I've been working on getting ready to cut our 60+ Samba servers over
from the old style printers.def approach to the new printer drivers
databases. However, I'm have a hard time uploading the packages onto the
server using the install_printer_drivers.pl script from Imprints 0.0.9b.
To make sure I wasn't packaging them wrong I used the
imprints.sourceforge.org server to get

Adding to my previous msg, debug level 7 finally gave me some output. In
my smbd.log i am seeing the following whenever i try to upload printer

I've looked in to other methods of doing this, imprints doesn't seem to be

Can't add print drivers for existing printers
I've just upgraded from Samba 2.0 (Debian 2.2 "potato") to Samba 2.2 (Debian
3.0 "woody"), and I'm trying to get the print driver functionality working.
My test server is a Debian 3.0r1 system running Samba 2.2.3a. My test client
is running Windows 2000 Professional SP1.
I'm following the procedure in the Samba-HOWTO-Collection, namely:

[LLVMdev] Hexagon Assembly parser question
...just work," thankfully.
That said, you'll also likely have to do a bit of work in the generic AsmParser code, as it'll likely look at statements like these and not realize they're instruction sequences. The "mnemonic <whitespace> operands" format is pretty strongly imprinted on everything. That's not completely unfixable, of course, but it may be a bit tricky to avoid syntactic ambiguities. Not impossible, mind, just tricky and something to pay very close attention to in your design.

rpcclient enumdrivers enumprinters
Hi all,
i'm new to the list and here's my first question :
I'm trying to install several printer drivers on my samba server with
imprints. I did a package with the NT/2000 and W9x drivers and the
mkprintpkg command. Then I used the command install_printer_drivers.pl to
install the files in the appropriate directories. So now i'd like to check

Can't add drivers or print from Windows
Greetings,
I have spent over a month of my evenings working on this. I am
indeed a Samba newbie.
Version of Linux: Red Hat 7.2 with latest RPM's from RedHat ftp site on a
minimal custom Red Hat install with bastille_linux installed. (tmp defense
removed as it was interfering with samba using the tmp directory)
I have tried this with bastille stopped and running with no change)

Newbie SAMBA Printing question
Can SAMBA be used on Solaris9/SUN OS 5.8 to emulate a MicroSoft NetBeui client and thereby print to a print server.
I have a printer(ps) that is netbeui only and want to print to it from a Sparc station. lp and lpr are not available by TCP/IP.
Please respond off the board(direct-mail) as I'm sure this is too basic for most users and I did not subscribe to list. I did search the archives and

Win2k/Printer Installs
Hi,
I've been reading the docn on installing printers via the samba server
and I find it all rather confusing so I'm hoping some nice person out
there can explain it a bit more clearly.
I have Win2k clients/Solaris 7 Samba server (2.2.2). What I want to get
working is client PCs installing printers as easily as possible (i.e.
so that our users can do it and not me !). I have

[LLVMdev] Hexagon Assembly parser question
Hi,
I'm trying to enable the hexagon LLVM assembly parser. It seem like there
is a lot of work that has been done to make this parsing straightforward.
But..
Hexagon assembly does not follow the "Mnemonic Rx Rx ." format that is
expected by the assembly parsing infrastructure, represented by:
StringRef Mnemonic = ((ARMOperand*)Operands[0])->getToken();

Vulnerability in gnuTLS
Hello,
There is a vulnerability described in the gnuTLS library which is used in libvirt:
https://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2014-3466
We are using libvirt 0.8.7 on Windows so my question is:
Is there already a windows version with a newer gnuTLS library which has a fix for the mentioned vulnerability?
