Dragging a copy of an image and then reverting
I''d like to drag images onto drop zones. I have a working demo with one
problem: the image leaves the dock and then "snaps back" to it:
(broken -- image leaves dock during drag then snaps back)
http://u32.net/junq/imlib-demo-1/
I can get the image to remain in the dock during the drag using
''ghosting:true''. But how do I keep the original in the dock after the
move?
(broken: image moves off the dock after the drag)

There are sime projects ( libraries ) that do part of this,
but usually have limited capabilities, like libsndfile ,

I hope something like this will be avaliable soon as free software.

gnomeGUI installation
Hello,
I have successfully downloaded the sources and built R as a shared
library on a Red Hat Enterprise Level 3 box. I am now trying to build the
GNOME GUI, but configure is barfing on glade. According to the system
logs, the RPM for libglade2-devel-2.0.1-3.x86_64 is installed, but in
/usr/bin, where gnomeGUI configure is looking, what's there is
libglade-convert. How do I fix this?

Right, this is exactly what I'm talking about (although I didn't consider
it necessary to support image formats as these are already well covered by
libs like imlib/GdkPixbuf.) One feature that might be nice is a
processing swiss army knife (similar to sox for audio, only implemented in
a library function) which could handle converting sampling rates, sample
widths, channel merging, endianness, linear/logarithmic conversion, etc.
for audio and pixel bit width...

Anyone using Asterisk on Slackware 9?
Hi, I am trying to do a very minimal install of Slackware to run Asterisk
on.
Can anyone give me a list of what packages I need to install as I don't want
X an all the associated bloat?
Thanks in advance.

[PATCH] browser_plugin - kate support, build fixes, and misc
...ng for him/her :)
The callback should work on all platforms though (heavily piggybacking
on the CMML code here).
Note also that this uses simple text from liboggplay, so directionality is not
taken into account (eg, Arabic text displays in the wrong order). This is not
really fixable now anyway as Imlib doesn't seem to support this (if I draw
right to left as a test, characters are flipped too, which we don't want).
This will get fixed once I get my rendering lib done, and liboggplay will have
the ability to send Kate streams as YUV overlay data (which can then be
drawn over a Theora video...

suse 9.1 x86_64 rpms?
I noticed on the mailing list archives and through Google searches that
a couple of months ago there was discussion of maintaining rpms for suse
9.1 on the x86_64 architecture.
Are these rpms still planning on being released? It would help me a
great deal.
I've tried compiling from source using the R-base spec files provided on
CRAN. Using that, I am able to produce a running version of
