[fdo] keyboard, keys editor on linux, write unicode without IME ?
Hi, Before starting, I must say that I haven't change my Linux OS (Mandrake 8.1) for 3 years. So, I dont't really know if there were a big evolution until now. I don't know if there is a possibility to edit keyboard on Linux (libxklavier ?...). If not, it should be launch by freedesktop.org. If yes, it should be a word about this. In this editor, there would be a list of all existing

Support for tags in speex files?
Dear speex developers, Would it be possible to have tags in speex files? I have a good amount of spoken audio (currently in MP3 format) and I would like to convert it to speex, since it seems to be the best choice for voice recordings. Unfortunately, without tags, it is quite hard to identify the speeches. Ideally, I would love if tag support were included into easytag, so that I can manipulate

changing variable naming rules in LLVM codebase
I want to reiterate the benefit that underscore_names would bring. To be clear it's not my favorite style, but it does have a very concrete advantage which is that we have a very large subproject already using it. it doesn't make sense to do a purely aesthetic move that not everyone is going to agree on anyway, when we could do one with actual tangible value. Hi I have a FORTRAN version of the L-BFGS-B algorithm and I was comparing it to the code in the lbfgsb.c file available at R-4.0.0.tar.gz Everithing looks the same, except for those two lines that must be printed by the prn3lb function in case of an error (lines 3559 and 3561 in lbfgsb.c): case -5: Rprintf("l(%d) > u(%d). No feasible solution", k, k); break; case -7:

Dear R-devel & Translation Teams, In order to monitor the progress of the translation for the pt_BR team I wrote a script to summarize the status of the translations. It wasn't difficult to extend it to the other languages so I decided to set up a page with the summaries of the translation for all languages for which currently exist a translation.

changing variable naming rules in LLVM codebase
FWIW, I'm pretty strongly opposed to humbleCamelCase. We already use that style so something else. One of the biggest advantages of changing the variable naming convention would be to differentiate variables from other constructs IMO, and that's the nature of many examples here. Using underscore_names for variables as Zach suggests would,, onhe other hand, be a significant improvement

changing variable naming rules in LLVM codebase
I have to agree with Paul that I think it is rather useful to have a naming convention that distinguishes class members from locals, etc. I'm not sure what that would look like, whether an m prefix for data members would be something others would entertain, but something that makes it clear would probably be useful. To use Paul's example, I think that mTheStuff vs. TheStuff makes it super
