[fdo] keyboard, keys editor on linux, write unicode without IME ?
...ty to add a
custom profile for edit some keys.
For example, in hawaiian language, there is an accent (seems that is ?,
U+02BB) in their typography. Seems there are no keyboard that be able to
write this accent.
I don't know if there is a possibility to write directly unicode characters
without IME on Linux.
Like on Windows AltGr+number which is limited to 255, it would be possible
to write unicode characters based on unicode numbers.
Bye.

socks5 did not disappear. there was not explicit socks5 support.

why?

in the future. however, openssh 2.9p1's contrib dir contains
some code.

Support for tags in speex files?
...he best choice
for voice recordings.
Unfortunately, without tags, it is quite hard to identify the speeches.
Ideally, I would love if tag support were included into easytag, so that
I can manipulate everything with just Free Software.
Thanks in advance, Rog?rio Brito.

Japanese characters
Dear all
Some programs in windows need GLOBAL IME japanese (jamondo, msjaime or imejpn). These programs don't work under WINE because it seems it has not this IME included.
Is it posible to see Japanese character in WINE?
Many thanks.

Updating the Debian (and Ubuntu) packaging of Theora
...be written for:
,----
| /usr/bin/theora_png2theora
| /usr/bin/theora_player_example
| /usr/bin/theora_encoder_example
| /usr/bin/theora_dump_video
`----
But given that we have survived well so far, I think that we can
postpone this a tiny little bit and upload right away (perhaps
targetting experimental?).
I'm keeping xiph.org in the loop so that they know about the efforts
(and, possibly, incorporate some of the changes in their repository).

delay in processing dtmf
Hi,
I'm new to this list
I'm developing asterisk application where users can call and control volume
up and down in music player.
Problem I'm getting is if users press 222228 in fast speed, system will
process all those 2s and then process 8, so there is few seconds ( around
4-5) processing key press 8 , therefore users will feel unresponsiveness in
system.(in other words users will

It wasn't difficult to extend it to the other languages so I decided to

If any of you find it useful I can keep it updated on a regular basis
