vfs_fruit: xattr imcompatible with netatalk
Hi.
I'm testing samba 4.2.0 vfs_fruit on Fedora Server 22-alpha.
I confirmed that ResourceFork and FinderInfo are compatible with
Netatalk 3.1.7. However, EAs are incompatible.
The character ":" in EA name is wrong.
The EAs are not seen from clients.
smb.conf:
[test2]
path = /export/test2
writable = yes
vfs objects = catia fruit streams_xattr
fruit:locking =

That is what was known as idmap-sss and relies on the winbind libs
provided by sssd and is probably not compatible with

I use windows xp. When trying to use the function mtrace from package debug
the window that should open with the function to be debugged do not show

Is there any imcompatibility between windows xp and debug package.

NT logon scripts "error 59" ?
Is anyone having any problems mapping samba shares in a mixed NT/Samba domain ?
I've setup samba as a domain member server using winbind, everything work perfectly except...
If i edit my NT logon script and add a "net use j: \\samba\drive" entry in the script, only 90% of the users will map the samba drive, my workstation included, it's a mix, 98/2000 and XP workstation seem to

Tremor + upstream libogg
Hi vorbis experts!
I'd like ot write application under Symbian that use theora as video
codec & tremor as an audio one. I played at first with libogg &
theora on PC, then successfully ported them both. Next I decided
to port Tremor but I found that it use its own files from Ogg library.
The API is almost identical, so I tried to bind the Tremor with upstream

Yum/RPM Update Conflicts
Hi,
I've been trying to sort this out for the past week. I had a RedHat
7.3 desktop install with a disk dying on it. The desktop has two disks
on it - one configured with /, /usr and /boot (this was the bad disk)
and the second had /var and /home. I obtained a replacement disk and
initially tried copying the /, /usr and /boot filesystems to the new
disk but this ended up being a problem. In

Problems on porting swfdec on NXP
I'm gonna CC the swfdec mailing list, as I think it's interesting for
everybody thinking about Swfdec on embedded.

ProFTPd under CentOS 5.2 running FTPS - iptables problem
Hello,
I am setting up ProFTPd daemon (from EPEL repository) under CentOS 5.2
and I need encrypted connection. Daemon is configured perfectly, there
is no problem - if iptables is off connection is smoothly established,
but when iptables is on, connection in FTP client ends on command LIST
without response. Last command with response (positive) is PASV.
Thank you for your replies

Echo Canceling
I have been battling echo since we installed a new system at one of
our clients. I am using a single span digium card. I believe this is
the first time someone has setup a PRI in this area (its way out in
the middle of nowhere). We get slight echo on all calls, and when
calling some numbers (long distance calls but still in the local
area), we get very loud echo. The person calling out can hear

I run my production DomU''s using Xen 3.4.1 at the moment with the old
