Quadro 4000 with iiyama B2783QSU should be 2560x1440 but detected as 1920x1080.
Hi, Distribution: openSUSE 42.2 Beta, Kernel: 4.4. The box is a Dell
Precision T7500 with an nVidia Quadro 4000 card and a displayport
connected iiyama B2783QSU 2560x1440 monitor identified as DP-1.
Problem: The monitor is detected as 1920x1080 and not 2560x1440. See Xorg
log file at http://rogerprice.org/Xorg.0.log . There is no file
/etc/X11/xorg.conf and in the directory /etc/X11/Xorg.conf.d/ the files
50-device.conf, 50-monitor.conf and...

...Might have to flip it into DP 1.2 mode or something.

[Bug 50374] New: nouveau fails to obtain EDID from NV11 (nforce IGP)

On an nforce1 based system nouveau (KMS) driver only used default (small) modes
while attached monitor can do up to 1280x1024. Looking at
/sys/class/drm/.../edid returns empty file.
System:
Mainboard: MSI K7N420 Pro
Monitor: Iiyama E431S, 1280x1024, connected with VGA
Kernel is 3.4.0 (same applies to all older kernels tried).
System info (lspci, ioports, iomem) at attachment #33464 of bug #26670, the
Xorg.0.log and xorg.conf parts apply to past nv approach on that bug.

[Bug 29415] New: Screen shutdown with Nvidia GeForce 9400M

I use a Mac Mini (model late 2009) on an up-to-date Debian Testing with the
latest (git) nouveau driver (as of today). The video card is a Nvidia GeForce
9400M (nVidia Corporation C79 [GeForce 9400] (rev b1)) connected via
mini-diplayport -> VGA to a CRT Iiyama Vision Master Pro 410.
The minidisplay-port -> VGA connector is apparently an active connector.
The video card and the screen work fine under Mac OS X or with the vesa driver.
