statistical mode function
...o R-users, I am aware that this is a very basic question, but still... image() colors
...1 1 1 1 0 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 In output then graph for X would have green for 0 and yellow for 1, whereas the graph for Y would be all green. Thus the two pictures cannot be compared. Is there any way around this problem? Thank you in advance for any help. ignore error in for-loop
...and I don't want the program to exit the loop? Rather instead I would like it to just go to the next number in the loop and try again with the new number. Is there any function like "on error go back to" or "skip error" ... ? partitioning a space

How to get the test statistic corresponding to the p-value in mtable?
Dear R-Users, I want to use mtable from package "memisc" to produce Latex-style estimation output. However, mtable() only gives me a p-value and not the corresponding test-statistic. How to change labels in scatterplot?
Dear all, I'm trying to use "scatterplot" from package "car" to get a scatterplot with row-names as labels and I want my data to be divided into two groups defined by the column "tresh". Leaving away the groups-command gives me the right labels but they are not distinguished by colors according to "tresh". Does anybody know why the following example

panel data analysis possible with mle2 (bbmle)?
Dear R community, I want to estimate coefficients in a (non-linear) system of equations using 'mle2' from the "bbmle" package. Right now the whole data is read in as just one long time series, when it's actually 9 cross sections with 30 observations each. I would like to be able to test and correct for autocorrelation but haven't found a way to do this in this package.

linking modules - add needed libraries

compiling Rcpp with 3.0.1 on Solaris 10
Hello My colleagues asked me to install "R" with module "shiny". R version 3.0.1 compiled fine on Solaris 10 and is running well. I tried to install "shiny". With the dependencies "Rcpp" should be installed before. But the compile step did fail. See below. The initial error message is "Error in dyn.load(file, DLLpath = DLLpath, ...) :" Before
