forwarding packets to service in same host without using loopback network
This question is not about linux usage. But still i think user list is a good crowd for linux programmer. So here it goes. I have this libnetfilter_queue application which receives packets from kernel based on some iptables rule. Before going straight to my problem, i'm giving a sample workable code and other tools to set up a test environment so that We problem definition and possible

[LLVMdev] Are instr_iterators invalidated when function inlining is performed?
Hi, I'm trying to write a small piece of code that inlines all calls to a particular function. The codes is as follows Function* klee_check_divF = module->getFunction("klee_div_zero_check"); assert(klee_check_divF != 0 && "Failed to find klee_div_zero_check function"); // Hack inline checks for (Module::iterator f = module->begin(), fe =

Is ''publish'' proxy arp still broken ?
Can''t get proxy arp with arp -s <IPaddr> <MACaddr> pub to work with a 2.4 kernel. I see some evidence in the archive that this was broken in the 2.0.x timeframe and never fixed. Anyone know for sure if it''s broken or working ? (I''m attempting to route a few addresses into a routed network, from the ethernet side of a DSL router that has a /29 public

create list of names where two df contain == values
Hello again... sorry to be posting yet again, but I hadn't anticipated this problem. I am trying to now put the names found in one column in data frame 1 (lets call it df.1[,1]) in to a list from the rows where the values in df.1[,2] match values in a column of another dataframe (df.2[3]) I tried to write this function so that it put the list of names (called Iffy) where the 2 criteria

Samba4 gid-to-sid question
Hi. We used info from a SID created using samba-tool group add to posix-ify it and then add a posix-ifed domain user to it. The AD doco defines two sorts of SID. Ones that change, and ones that don't. Here is a search on our posix-ified group: ldbsearch --url=/usr/local/samba/private/idmap.ldb 'xidnumber=3000012' objectSid: S-1-5-21-980186919-4150830324-975011627-1121 We set the primaryGroupID of the user to 1121, his gidNumber to 3000012 and his uidNumber from wbinfo. He becomes visible to Linux via nss-ldapd, whilst r...

security=domain fails after upgr. to 4.9, winbind doesn't help
Hi Rowland, > Remove 'map untrusted to domain = Yes', it has been removed. > > Add 'domain logons = Yes' > > This gets it back to being a PDC: thanks for the hints! I did that, but it doesn't help. I guess the problem is not on the PDC server but on SERVER2. That's the one that got upgraded and stopped working (even with the non-pdc config of SERVER1). I

get mean of several rows
Dear all! After hours of trying around, I gave up: I have a 2-dimensional array, and I know how to split it into its rows and how to get the mean for every row using 'sapply'. But what I want is to calculate the mean over the first n rows, and then the second n rows, etc., so that I get a vector like: v == mean1(row 1:5), mean2(row6:10),... (trivial, you might say. I find it rather

[LLVMdev] [lld] buildbot configuration on using -fsanitize options
FYI We have an upstream bootstrap bot ( http://lab.llvm.org:8011/builders/sanitizer-x86_64-linux-bootstrap) that does a number of things including running llvm/clang tests under ASan/MSan. Probably we can add a couple of steps that would checkout lld and run check-lld in ASan-ified/MSan-ified build trees. Classifying Intertwined Spirals
I'm using an SVM as I've seen a paper that reported extremely good results. I'm not having such luck. I'm also interested in ideas for other approaches to the problem that can also be applied to general problems (no assuming that we're looking for spirals). Here is my code: library(mlbench) library(e1071) raw <- mlbench.spirals(194, 2) spiral <-

plot mean + S.E. over time
Hi, there! I finally became a disciple of 'R', after having lost years of my life handling data with a popular, rather wide-spread spreadsheet-software. Now I want to plot the results of many runs of my simulation over time, so that the means +/- Standard error are on the y-axis, and time on the x-axis. I have tried 'boxplot', with timesteps as the grouping variable, but did
