Upgrading from Debian Stretch to Buster, Van Belle package
Ah, ok,
apt-get remove libldb1 ldb-tools
Then try again : apt install samba winbind acl
The replacement of libldb1 to libldb2 is missing something.
I'll have a look at that.
Greetz,
Louis

Some question of DHT Translator?
Does DHT Translator all files under the same directory will be store on the
same node?
It sounds terrible.
Thanks

Hard lock with 4.14.0-2
I am running Debian testing and updated my system this morning which
included a new kernel: 4.14.0.2-amd64
After this update, my system froze twice -- both times the exact same
behavior.
In both situations, the system froze while I was resizing a window.
The mouse cursor froze, clock stopped, num lock stopped working. I
didn't check if the system responded to pings from a remote machine,

To recap:
Yuval and I succeeded to implement a QEMU pvrdma device that works
(with some limitations) with VMware's Linux driver.
The git can be found at:

The QEMU RFC at:
https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/9653893/
While we do plan to merge it to QEMU, as a next step it seems
to be a consensus that virtio should be used to implement guest<->host
communication; since the project is not small, we need a plan.

If folks agree that this sounds useful, the next step would be to
reserve an id for the device type.

Infiniband Drivers under Xen kernel?
Hello folks,
I am running Xen 2.6 under Centos 5.2 installation, and am trying to port
Xen migration abilities to Infiniband. But, the InfiniBand drivers do not
work under Xen kernel, only under non-Xen kernels. It looks like I need to
install some patches to rectify the situation.
Has anyone ever worked with Infiniband and Xen and would be able to give me
inputs about the same? I would really

...ey, drop this as it is a
very bad idea, to yeah, go ahead, we really want it.
Idea here is that since it is not a minor effort i first want to know if
there is some sort interest in the community for such device.
The scope of the implementation is limited to probing the device and doing
some basic ibverbs commands. Data-path is not yet implemented. So with this
one can expect only that driver is (partialy) loaded and basic queries and
resource allocation is done.
One note regarding the patchset.
I know it is not standard to collaps patches from several repos as i did

GlusterFS configure summary

FUSE client : no
Infiniband verbs : no
epoll IO multiplex : yes
Berkeley-DB : no
libglusterfsclient : yes

I am going to need the gluster FUSE client now and ibverbs support in
the near future. What's the correct incantation?
Thanks!
