libXext not in ia32libs for some reason
I am trying to compile wine with freetype for Ubuntu Hardy 64bit and ended up with an error involving libXext. Where can I download it or fix this problem?

Patching wine -- 64bits

Well, the way to apply the patch, is editing manual the file, or with the comand:

$patch -p1 < patchtoaply.path
. Well, I can patch the file, but i when i try to install directly from this patched version of wine ( or not-patched ) im getting an error of compatibility, i installed ia32libs...bison... all the packages that i heard about for 32bits compatibility.

Did you installed "ia32libs" (don't remember the exact name) ?
If you've installed nvidia driver from .run, did it asked you for 32bits GLX libraries installation ?
The "trick" here is to also have 32bits libraries and GLX driver to make it work.

Direct rendering disabled - apparently common on 64bit
I'm running Debian Squeeze on an ASUS UL30VT with a GeForce G210M, using the 2.6.32-5-amd64 kernel. Obviously I'm on a 64bit system.
I've been trying to get World of Warcraft to run, but I just can't get it to start. I'm using the non-free nvidia driver and I followed the howto at http://wiki.debian.org/NvidiaGraphicsDrivers while installing it. According to glxinfo I do in

wine apps kills jack stream
In winecfg is alsadrv selected but i cant see any asio audio device in a asio compatible aplication and no ports in jack too
if i do:
