[LLVMdev] svn pre-commit hook: help needed
...jecting commits for style violations, but the dev guide has certain guidelines regarding formatting and style. And we're all supposed to be good citizens... My biggest nit, however, was contemplating a commit where 80%+ was trailing whitespace trimming. Yeah, my editor happens to practice good hygiene. I could have been a complete *$$**le and committed a global hygiene patch. I only touched the files that I'll end up committing in another day or two. Since there are style rules, I also decided to see how much reaction there would be if they were enforced at commit time. Evidently, it's...

It would also be easy to track if these > "quick fixes" didn't happen shortly. As David Blaikie mentioned, our bug hygiene is not really that good. It would be easy to find the set of tests citing the generic PR, but somebody would have to take it upon themselves to go looking for them. By the time that happened, the kinds of details we'd want to see in a bug would be just as missing as if we had no XFAIL-to-PR lin...

Hello, I am wanting to download the recent R update off the web. May I assume confidently that R package from the website is virus free? I apologise if this is a very silly question, I just need to convince myself if the site is very hygiene. Basically, never handle or store dangerous information that...
