Small typo in german translation
.../po/R-de.po:msgstr "keine Zeile f?r die Aggragation"
Binary file src/library/translations/inst/de/LC_MESSAGES/R-stats.mo matches
This is (at least) on R-devel, I did not look into other versions. Hope,
it is ok to not offer a diff for it.
Thanks for all your work.

No new daily R-devel tarball since r69202?
...[1] stucks on r69202?
It seems, that newer R-devel versions are now published on
/pub/misc/cran/src/base-prerelease, for example at
http://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/misc/cran/, but without an R-devel.tar.gz
tarball ...
Is this intended? Any clarification would be appreciated.
Thanks and greetings,

Matrix package: compilation error
...39;Matrix'
** Removing '/usr/local/lib/R/library/Matrix'
-----
Under FreeBSD I have installed the LAPACK package (3.0.2) with library
at location
/usr/local/lib/liblapack.so.4
Is it possible that the Makefile of package Matrix fails because of that?
Any help is appreciated,

alphachannel on pdf-device
...g a line without
any transparency a polygon is drawn with alphachannel set to 40%. All
following figures and even text is shown with transparency.
The described behaviour seems to be the same on FreeBSD 7.0-CURRENT and
on WindowsXP.
Am I doing something wrong?
Many thanks for any help,
Rainer Hurling

R does not compile any more on FreeBSD 8.0-CURRENT
...NT only appears with R and no other third party software.
Potentially this is an error within latest FreeBSD code (?) and I have
to ask on the FreeBSD mailing list. But before I wanted to ask on
r-devel at . Perhaps someone here has an idea? Any hints are very welcome.

What's wrong with yum-priorities?
"The upstream maintainer of yum, Seth Vidal, had the following to say
about 'yum priorities' in September 2009:
Gosh, I hope people do not set up yum priorities. There are so many things
about priorities that make me cringe all over. It could just be that it
reminds me of apt 'pinning' and that makes me want to hurl."

Now my question: Is it possible to change the configure/build of the

Please let me know if I can help.

?? I also would have reported it on R-devel. Is this a special case with
special handling?

At this point the install process is hanging, R utilises no more CPU

Is this a known error? Please let me know if I can give more information

It would be very nice, if you could give me a hint what I'm doing wrong
