Samba4 AD DC Implementation Report - YAY! And Thanks for the tools!
...ted to say that everything is working fine, but I may have some suggestions for better documentation once I am done tweaking... Specifically, my server has docker and bridged networking so I ended up with my DNS being populated with some useless IP addresses. Other than that, everything seems to be hunky dorry! Thanks for the great tools!!! Deven

PRI, multi D channels and conventional PBXs
...ce * with it's TE410P in between. Now the difficult part, the existing connection is E1 PRI (Q.931) with 6 B-channels. I need to be able to trigger a D-channel to the old PBX and a D-Channel to the Telco (Not BT!). Next I can put the PBX onto a span 2, it triggers the D-channel and all seems hunky dory - until you try to acquire a line from * - this gives me: -- Extension '' in context 'blah' from '' does not exist. Rejecting call on channel 6, span 2 Any suggestions most welcome! Lee

app_dial.c: Unable to create channel of type 'Zap' (cause 34 - Circuit/channel congestion)
...DN line problem and so we waited a whole day for the engineer to arrive. He plugged an ISDN phone into the line and found it was working because he could call out. We are perplexed and thought about replacing the Digium card. We ended up just re-seating the card and lo and behold, everything was hunky dory after re-seating. Does anyone know why?

spandsp and app_txfax
Hi all, Ok, I've been bashing my head for a few hours now on this, trying to figure out if I've done something wrong, but everything seems to me hunky-dory. So here's the deal: 1. I've compiled the spandsp 0.0.2pre10 source code successfully and also the asterisk application associated with it. 2. Receiving a fax at asterisk works fine, at least appears to be working fine. 3. Sending an outgoing fax from asterisk to the world do...

Possible for Asterisk to output CLID to invoke 3rd party app?
...lease forgive me relative lack of knowledge with Asterisk, but I've not played with PBX systems for a while and I'm just re-finding my feet. I've set up my first Asterisk server, I have it configured with a Digium X100P Analogue pots board, I have my Called ID working and everything is hunky dorey with the server itself. But. (and there's always a but) I want to pass inbound CLID information out from Asterisk to other applications for display. Is there an easy way to do this? I have some simple command line perl scripts that will take a number as an argument when called and the...

h323 with NAT
Hi list, I've been beating my head for about 3 days on this one. I have Asterisk 1.4.41 installed using openh323. As long as I'm inside my firewall, everything is hunky-dory. When I move to server on another subnet, I'm still able to connect, but no longer have sound. Any good pointers or suggestions? Thanks Danny Nicholas

Audio in OpenSolaris 2009.06 x86
...led!" dialogue. No audio is present in Unreal. I've successfully installed OSS in OpenSolaris (http://opensolaris.org/os/project/opensound/), OSSv4.0 is available via GNOME and audio output to every other app seems just fine. I kinda figured that if WINE supported OSS everything would be hunky-dory but I guess I'm missing something. The Opensolaris Wiki page here simply makes reference to a manual build of ESound being required, but there is no information as to how to get there, and the info may be outdated for all I know. Any pointers much appreciated!! :) Dave

Roaming profiles on WinXP SP1 and samba....
...re not working correctly. I have an existing Samba server with RP working. Now I need to move this to new server due to HW failure on original server. Configs almost identical. Profiles now reside on a different partition, but I' ve told samba where to find them. User logs on, and it all look hunky, till they try to change any settings in their start bar, retrieve their mail with their original email setting, etc. Then nothing works. e.g. I change their desktop to reflect the winXP look/feel. When I log out, it returns to the original setup. Can anybody point me to additional resources or gi...

[LLVMdev] Seeing a crash with ConstantFP::get
Hola Dale, Bumping it up to 3 bits makes everything work hunky dory on the PC side of my project. Would you like me to commit that? Also, after speaking with some VStudio folks, it looks like that issue will likely remain for VS2k8 as well. Another trick that was suggested to me was to try something along these lines: Enum E : unsigned int { A, B, C, D };...

Latest CVS, Grandstream and Zaptel bug?
...and several Grandstream BT101 & 102's, and a Digium TDM31B. I'm running the latest CVS (CVS-HEAD-05/27/04-17:22:40) of both Asterisk and the Zaptel driver on Fedora Cora 1. When I make an outgoing call on the Cisco phone, everything works fine. I'm connected, and it all sounds hunky dory. My Grandstream phones talk quite nicely to Asterisk. I can receive incoming calls and have them forwarded to my phone, and I can dial internal extensions without a problem. However, whenever I attempt to make an outgoing call, the outgoing number rings, but no audio is ever sent to the G...

[cfe-dev] RFC: Enforcing pointer type alignment in Clang
...pedef (!!!) -- is a non-standard GCC extension which is not even properly documented anywhere. And it fails to work in some places, like trying to use it as a template parameter (GCC actually diagnoses that as not working; clang silently ignores it). So, I'm not saying everything is completely hunky-dory here. But I do think it's essentially a workable and sane model. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... ...-e production \ -p 8000 -N 3 -a 127.0.0.1 --user mongrel \ --group mongrel It correctly writes the mongrel_cluster.yml file to the config directory. Now, if I: sudo mongrel_rails start -d Everything works like a charm. I can browse to the site on port 3000 and everything is both hunky and dory. However, if I : sudo mongrel_rails cluster::start It tells me it''s starting 3 mongrels, but nothing happens. The mongrel log file shows this (apologies for the long listing): [limbach at larry log]$ cat mongrel.log ** Daemonized, any open files are closed. Look at log/mongr...

Remote MWI for Central Voicemail?
Hi - We've got multiple offices with their own asterisk boxes (CVS HEAD 11/03/04-14:59:37) connecting to each other using IAX forwards. All users are on SIP phones. Voicemail is centralized to one location. Everything is hunky dory except that the users in the remote offices don't get MWI on their phones. I've seen the other posts to this list regarding this, and I've been trying to adapt the SER -> Asterisk script that was posted here (uses sipsak): http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-user...
