Problem with storeconfigs
...the puppetmaster, ran the puppet client on it, no problems. Setup a second puppet client, no problems. On the third client I get the following error: debug: Calling puppetmaster.getconfig err: Could not retrieve catalog: Exported resource Sshkey[10.10.12.14] cannot override local resource on node humpty.ebrary.com warning: Not using cache on failed catalog I read the error description on http://reductivelabs.com/trac/puppet/wiki/SyntaxErrors but I really don''t fully understand what I should be doing to resolve this. It worked fine in our test environment...??? I am running CentOS 5.3...

Virtual servers - multiple sambas
...hen "%L" will result in testparm reporting that it cannot find "smb.conf.glendajackson". If the netbios name is not set then testparm reports that it cannot find "smb.conf. ". It just ignore the netbios aliases and there includes altogether - eg. netbios aliases = humpty dumpty include = /etc/samba/smb.conf.humpty include = /etc/samba/smb.conf.dumpty Of course, I have set the directories so that only people in the humtpy department can access their files and vice versa - but I would rather have two separate workgroups (which seems impossible under one pdc) wit...

...under /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/, and I see agilo, and agilo-0.9.7-py2.6.egg-info, and agilo_lib, and there's no egg per se. Is there a but with the trac package, that something's missing, or am I missing something? And what do I do with about the egg? mark "looks like Humpty Dumpty's got a problem"

cat with backspace and newline characters
Hi, when mixing newline and backspace characters I get the following output (see below). In the second call, the backspace character is simply not applied. Is this normal behaviour? Thank you. > cat("abc\b") ab> cat("abc\b\n") abc > [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

two 2-node clusters or one 4-node cluster?
Hello, I'm planning migration of current two clusters based on CentOS 6.x with Cman/Rgmanager going to CentOS 7.x and Corosync/Pacemaker. As the clusters and their services are on the same subnet, and there no particular security concerns differentiating them, I'm also evaluating the option to transform the two clusters into a unique 4-node one during the upgrade. Currently I'm

MIT vs GPL vs LGPL for open source project
I intend to release a project I wrote with Rails. What is the right licensing scheme for a web application (content managing system) which could grow with plugins and add-ons ? Personally, I would prefer the GPL but does that mean any add-on to the CMS (like task management) will have to be GPL ? If some people contribute to the code could it still be double-licenced so that the people who
