permission issues afer upgrade from 2.0.7 to 2.2.2
...s that actually OWN the directories!....(works fine from native Unix).
Any suggestions/ideas on what may be happening, and/or what differences between 2.0.7 & 2.2.2 are that could be affecting this problem?
Thanks in advance!

Can't 'save-as' from MS Word
...g and signorseal.reg
installed. The work around is to save a file to a local directory and
then copy the file over to the samba drive via windows explorer, but
that s*cks!
Any ideas? this is driving us bananas.
Thanks,

Permission nightmares
SAMBA Gurus, I'm sure this has been experienced & addressed by
somebody.....but here's the issue:
Running version 2.2.2 on Solaris 2.8.....some users who try to copy a
file from a Novell share into a mapped Unix SAMBA share (copy, drag &
drop via windows explorer) cannot - they get this error message:
"Cannot copy geology: Access is denied."

...rade.....It would seem
like it's just a config change,
but I can't seem to identify it. Perhaps it's just a fundamental code
change, but then what would be the
solution, upgrade? To what version?
Thanks in advance!
