Passing a USB hub
Hi, I'm trying to assign a complete USB Hub to my Windows 10 guest, using libvirt 1.3. Following the documentation, I tried adding the following to the definition of my guest: ... <devices> ..    <hub type='usb'>       <address type='usb' bus='1' port='10.2'/>     </hub> .. </devices> To get the correct port, I used lsusb:

NAS with Samba and Multi-TT USB Hubs
Dear Sir or Madam, I've a very specific question about samba... My setup: I've a Raspberry 3B with Raspbian and a multi-TT USB hub attached to it. A few full-speed (1MB/s) mass-storage devices are going to be connected to this hub. On every device is just one big file (f.e. 50MB .txt file). Multi-TT just helps reading more full-speed devices on a single hub simultaneously. This works

KINGSTON SOHO Hub
I just ran into a completely unexpected problem. It appears that the Kingston SOHO Hubs don't do TCP. They do NETBEUI very well. After 4 hours of troubleshooting I went home and got my cheap Bay Networks 8 port hub and everything worked. This is to hopefully prevent others from running into the same problem. Nothing on Kingstons site mentions no TCP support but swapping only the hub worked

Two nodes with same key?

I had assumed that some sort of internal UID was used to identify nodes. Does tinc break if the two ends of the connection disagree about the name? For example if my old hub was called

Two nodes with same key?
I am wondering if tinc breaks if two hosts have the same key? I am guessing it probably does! I have a hub-and-spoke arrangement, with VPN clients who all know the DNS name and the public key for the hub. I need to transition the hub to another server, with another IP address. I will, after testing, transition the DNS name to point to the new server. It would be convenient if I didn't

Netfilter, libpcap, ntop and promiscuous mode?
I have a really basic question (I think). We have two boxes connected to a lan segment on a hub. One is a Windows box running "Show Traffic", the other is a CentOS 5 Linux box running "ntop". Both boxes should be able to sniff all of the traffic on that hub (not a switch). The Windows box does just fine, Show Traffic is able to display traffic destined for other boxes

newhidups subdriver_matcher incorrectly matches USB hub
I ran into the following issue today and would like some feedback from the group. Setup: I am using a MGE Pulsar Evolution 2200 UPS connected through a Belkin (F5U218-MOB) 4-Port USB Hub. Scenario: The newhidups subdriver_matcher function calls belkin_subdriver->belkin_claim. The belkin_claim function in belkin-hid.c matches the VendorID of the hub to Belkin's VendorID (0x050d), causing
