I switched my file server's hard disks from a p-2 350 to a p-3 deley 1.1 ghz. I ran kudzu and it detected the new nic and unconfigured the old one. I may have messed up the static ip assignment because hte system is not able to do anything on the network. Ok I now have the basics for dynamic parking working but for some reason when a caller calls in and is parked with a transfer the return call dials the sip peer of the caller and not hte peer of the last party that parked the call. Anyone have any ideas on this? Also when a call is transfered to a parking space. the caller hears the space number. How can I stop that as well? Hi, As a next question to my building this server. I'm nogt able to get a full verbose dmesg. Probably because the kernelbuffer for it is too small. I know there used to be a kernel option to increase it. But I can not find it with the setting in NOTES or any other place I looked.... Is it still there? Thanx, --WjW

...If the GCC community is actually interested in this, it would probably make sense for the gcc tree to have a version of dragonegg that worked with the last released version of llvm, not for it to try to chase tot. The LLVM tree would have a version of dragonegg that chased llvm ToT but worked with hte last released version of gcc. Of course, this would depend on someone being willing to do the work :) -Chris

I am trying to run 'xhost +' on CentOS 8 (such that I can grab a screen shot) but its not letting me. On boot of X I run the "xhost +" then later with SSH into hte box - I run export DISPLAY=:0.0 gnome-screenshot -f jj.png and I get the cannot open display message. This works on the older CentOS 7. Hi, What are the two granule rates in a fishead packet supposed to be for ? Since each of the streams has a corresponding fisbone packet with its own granulerate in it, and they can be all different, wha does the presentationtime num/den means ? Also for hte basetime num/den, since the UTC time which is also present in fishead seems to be a textual representation rather than a linear count ? Thanks

...gh asterisk, actually one is a SIP softphone, SJ Phone, and the other is the Go2Call calling gateway. Someone suggested that I don't have the right codecs. How do I find out which codecs are installed, and how can I install further codecs? Any suggestions which would be the right one? I think hte problem is from the Go2Call side, not the SJPhone cos I can dial from SJPHone to SJPhone routing through asterisk with no problems. many cheers Dave
