C6 compatible wireless printers?
Hi, Any success stories with C6 and wireless printers? Or maybe horror stories and what products to avoid? I'm looking at some HPs on amazon right now, some quite cheap, ~ ?50, not bad. Ideally they should have easy to refill cartridges. Thanks.

Samba/CUPS printer queue troubleshooting guide (XP clients)?
...running Samba 3.x (always current/latest) for over a year with primarily Windows 2000 clients. This summer we are converting our 100 Win2K PCs to XP; this conversion is nearly complete. Our Samba printing is CUPS-based to HP Laserjets (4000-4200 series) with CUPS queuses configured to address the HPs as LPD queues. Printing-related snips from SMB.CONF are as follows: printcap name = cups printing = cups [print$] comment = Printer Drivers path = /etc/samba/drivers browseable = yes guest ok = yes read only = yes write list = root create mask = 0775 [printers] comment = A...

OpenSSH 2.3.0p1: HP-UX 11.00 64-bit
I have encountered a problem with using OpenSSH 2.3.0p1 on 64-bit HP-UX 11.00 systems. This bug does not exhibit itself on any 32-bit HP-UX 11.00 or HP-UX 10.20 systems that I have built 2.3.0p1 on. OpenSSH 2.3.0p1 was built with HPs ANSI C compiler with OpenSSL 0.9.6 and zlib 1.1.3. The problem is with the call to vhangup(2) in sshd when interactive sessions are started. The problem does not occur for non-interactive sessions. When vhangup(2) is called, the following error is sent to syslog: Mar 13 21:14:37 hpux1100 vmunix...

HP Proliant DL360 G7
Hello, Has anyone out there been able to qualify the Proliant DL360 G7 for your Solaris/OI/Nexenta environments? Any pros/cons/gotchas (vs. previous generation HP servers) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! -Anh

Had it with Dell Garbage
I've had it with Dell server garbage. They seem to change RAID controllers as much as I change socks, and then the controllers don't work with Linux, unless you load a new driver. They sell servers with a PCI-e slot in them, but then you get it and find out the RAID controller is using the PCI-e slot! Their sales folks are dumber than rocks, and they change them more often than I

Printer with driver from Samba prints only b/w
...mba printer on my Linux machine with CUPS, it prints fine in color. So it seems to be a windows problem, but only if the driver comes through samba. Second problem feels even more like a windows problem: Before using the HP universal printer driver, I tried the fitting driver for the CP 4525 from HPs homepage. Added the driver with the print management. Assigned it to the new printer, clicking no when asked to look for a driver. After assigning the driver, i try to open the printer properties again and then the print management crashes without any notice, the window just disappears. Reproduced...

Any experiences with newer WD Red drives?
Might be slightly OT as it isn't necessarily a CentOS related issue. I've been using WD Reds as mdraid components which worked pretty well for non-IOPS intensive workloads. However, the latest C7 server I built, ran into problems with them on on a Intel C236 board (SuperMicro X11SSH) with tons of "ata bus error write fpdma queued". Googling on it threw up old suggestions to
