HP proliant and hpasm
Is anyone successfully running asterisk on an HP proliant while using their management software, hpasm? I have two DL360's and two TE220B's. The cards have their own IRQ's. No matter what combination of settings I use, the cards fail the patlooptest if hpasm (ver 7.9.1) is running. If I stop it the cards pass the test. I really want to run the management software, so I'd like...

network prob on Centos 4.4/HP DL320 G2
...This machine ran RHEL WS 2.1 for something like 3 years and never had this kind of trouble, even with both ports enabled in the BIOS. I always used the tg3 driver that came with Linux, not the driver that HP offers. The only RPM I've installed that I got from HP is the one that installs "hpasm", because that's the one that turns the fans from "screaming jet engine" into "low roar". CentOS - HP
Hi Does anyone have experience of running CentOS on HP hardware, both rack mount kit and blades? How are things like hardware monitoring etc? We may be moving from Dell to HP and i get on really well with OMSA and Nagios etc so ideally would like to monitor using similar tools rather than some central 'enterprise' dashboard etc. Any real world experience? thanks

Tons of SNMP ?errors? in /var/log/messages
I'm running up-to-date CentOS 5 w/ Xen. I'm getting tons (tons = 13787 just yesterday, presumably because I have a monitoring system poll every 5 minutes) of log entries of the following: netsnmp_assert index == tmp failed if-mib/data_access/interface.c:467 _access_interface_entry_save_name() and netsnmp_assert rc == 0 failed if-mib/ifTable/ifTable_data_access.c:209

smartd on RAID controllers?
It seems I can't smarm monitor disks on RAID controllers? I tried on several machines with two different controllers and on all I get this when starting up smartd: Jul 27 14:36:43 c1 smartd[5944]: Opened configuration file /etc/smartd.conf Jul 27 14:36:43 c1 smartd[5944]: Configuration file /etc/smartd.conf parsed.
