The same commands in 2.4.1 work without warning messages.

omega issues/notes
All,
I've run into a couple of things using omega/omindex under cygwin. I don't
think I'd attribute them to xapian, omega or omindex, but wanted to get
them out to the list so that if anyone else should run into these things
down the road, hopefully someone will remember and be able to help.
1) after compiling and building omega, and doing make install, I get a set

New logo for CentOS
To celebrate CentOS as the greatest thing since sliced bread, we
should endevour to have a new logo in place. Whilst the current one
suffices, a new logo/favicon should be in place.
My artistry skills are not good (i was eating hotdogs whilst the rest
of the class learned fine art), so those of you artistically endowed
should come up with something.

Since 2008, Microsoft staff and guests have written about R at the Revolutions

Shorewall.net is available again.
Although it took considerably longer than I had planned, the upgrade of my
firewall has been completed.

[OT] Bandwidth reporting tool recommendations
Hi,
Also, does anyone have a recommendation for a reporting tool that shows
bandwidth use, for each IP and each interface on a Shorewall FW?
Tried BandwidthD, but couldn''t get it to compile on Mandrake10...
NAAT might fit the bill - if it doesn''t mess-up my shorewall setup...
Thanks for any suggestions,
Richard.

Reading R Code aloud
Dearfolks--
I have been told by an experienced R programmer and teacher whom I trust
that it is easier to understand R code if you read it aloud, as the language
that it is. However, she was clear that reading it aloud was not simply
reading the marks on the screen: you read A.df[5,] as "the fifth row of
A.df" (or "the fifth row of data frame A"), not as "A dot df left

Calgary Ruby Users Society (CRUSERS)

Java Programmers, Calgary branch) had it''s first meeting today. After a
round of introductions, we discussed our interests and brainstormed
possible activities for the group. Paul Rogers did a presentation on

OT Linux/Gateway alternative for WAN compression/accelerator
I''m building a 10 branch/1 headquarter network with Shorewall/Linux as
gateway on all locations.
The TI guy asked me if there is a way to ''cache'' TCP/UDP traffic between them.
I crawled on Internet and I only find very expensive solutions for
this. Some of them appeared in this comparison article:

The server rebuild was a complete failure. For some reason, neither FC3
nor SuSE 9.2 like the graphics card in the box.
I have reinstalled the old hard drive and the server is back on line.
