I have compiled and install samba 3 from source. The services start and I can smbclient localhost etc. just fine and I can get a list of the computers in my active directory with that command. When I do a wbinfo -u I get "error looking up domain users." My smb.conf file has security = ads, my realm is NCCVT.K12.DE.US, I have encrypt passwords etc. Any idea where to start looking?

I've installed Samba 3.0.2 (from the source) on a SuSE 8.2 system with MIT Kerberos 1.3.1 (I uninstalled the Heimdal code) and the OpenLDAP 2.1.27 development libraries installed on it. I compiled the latest samba 3 with --winbind but I get error failed when I try to start it. I don't even get a log file to look at. It looked like I joined our AD domain because it asked me for a password and didn't complain like it usually does. Any help would be appreciated Thanks Gary
