I had temporarily started a VM, and it has allocated the memory for it. I have realised that after turning it down, the memory allocated to it, has remained reserved. Now, I need it for Dom0. Hi, This is the specifications dom0 -------- [root@server ]# uname -r 2.6.18-238.12.1.el5xen [root@server ]# uname -m x86_64 domu -------- root@test:~# uname -r 2.6.18-238.12.1.el5xen root@test:~# uname -m x86_64 My issue is like dom0 clock is moving too fast. Interestingly, it is affecting ubuntu & debian domU. centos domU is just working fine. Here is how I could recreate the problem.

...P.S: To test, I have tried using the debian kernel with the ubuntu initrd and the get the console in ths vnc session as expected. Hi; Currently I am running xen 3.4.2 on one of my Centos servers , I want to upgrade to latest version of xen but I dont know if I should upgrade to latest branch of xen 3 or xen 4 ? is xen 4 backward compatible with xen 3 VMs ? does it provide any performance benefit compared to xen 3 ?
