User-Oriented Management of Asterisk
...I am currently constructing a CIM model of Asterisk from a user view-point so that Asterisk could offer a WBEM management interface, thus fitting in with the other enterprise equipment in the office. There is some interest in this model within the DMTF. Is anyone else interested? Chris -- Chris Hobbs Nortel Networks Tel: +1 613 765 5386

Getting Samba 3 to communicate with Win2k3 ADS
...ld WinNT 4 File Server. I would like it to show up under all my XP clients on network neighborhood just like the old server, with each account on my network having a folder on the file server that they can work with i.e. John Doe (jdoe account name on the Windows 2003 domain) has a folder on "Hobbes" (the Linux File Server running Samba 3) named "jdoe" that only he and anyone in the Administrators group can access. This is how I had it setup with the old WinNT 4 file server. Obviously I'm not looking for anything fancy, just some decent security by using the same users/gr...

SSH 2.2.0
...t to openssh 2.2.1p1 using Ver 2 protocol from ssh Ver 2.2.0. Ver 1 works fine. See below for the debug output from both ends If I force hmac-md5 (-m hmac-md5) from the sender it works! The other 3 choices fail: hmac-sha1; hmac-md5-96; and none. I have no problem connecting to this openssh host (hobbes) from SeccureCRT Ver 3.1b2 or SSH V 2.0.13. I also have no problem connecting from SecureCRT 3.1b2 to ssh 2.2.0 (after I select "Standard Server" on the client end). Any ideas? What is the maximum size for a Samba share?
...\\san\backup is not accessible. The network path was not found. I've created another share called /backup on the os drive with the same settings, this works fine, so I don't believe that it is the Samba settings or permissions. Is there a maximum size for a Samba share? Many Thanks Paul Hobbs

I expect it to be ready this month, assuming everything goes to plan. Presumably I will need one of your licences to be sure this is legal - but I will not be hosting adverts on...

Is there any way to save a copy of the stream at the Icecast Server rather than the IceS2 source? If it can't be done by the server itself, I know there are
