How to add ClamAV to Postfix?
I sent this email to the Rehdat list, but I thought the Centos users
might be more inclined to have the command-line solution I am looking
for, so I thought I would post it here too:
I would like to add anti-virus to my email server. Currently I have
Postfix, Dovecot, PHP, and Squirrelmail installed. The users only use
Squirrelmail to access mail. I am looking for command-line
instructions,

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Fix for bug in JIT exception table allocation (no test yet)
...----------------------
The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy.
All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the
pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works
the same way in any country. - Hermann Goering (Hitler's right-hand man)

History is the practice of justifying the present by rewriting the past.

Microsoft Fortran Powerstation on Linux via Wine
Hi, i'm just starting with Linux, and by ny job I have
to program in Fortran, and I use Microsoft Fortran
Powerstation (an IDE) because of its integrated IMSL
library.
Now I tried to run it from Linux simply with the
command wine msdev.exe, and the first time it worked.
After that when the window starts to open another
window opens with the title "Microsoft Visual C++

Vorbis license terms? (fwd)
...Subject: Re: [vorbis-dev] Vorbis license terms?
(As a note... this is now becoming a discussion wandering from practical
bearing on Vorbis to abstract flaming. It's already been had at great length
elsewhere, and prior experience indicates that it's not going to end until
someone invokes Hitler)

No, it simply takes rights away from other developers. *I* can still do
whatever I want. Others are tied. That's not freedom in the real world.

1.0-test77

It's hot in here. Something like 25-30c for many days now. My brains
don't work in that heat.
So, this is still not an 1.0-alpha1. I'll put it out when I think the
release will actually be fully working :)
Changes since test76:
- Fixes to FETCHing MIME body parts, especially with message/rfc822
attachments. We hadn't been handling this entirely correctly

Minor patches for builds against ancient platforms
...to do the "delivery" so that the dovecot system is
"informed" of an append (or excision), obviating or at least reducing the need
to perform more costly re-syncs (or timeouts awaiting a lock break)?
I anticipate a thundering herd declaiming that procmail is the spawn of Satan,
Hitler, and He-who-shall-not-be-named. As someone who was responsible for much
of them (nearing 10 years ago, now), I don't disagree with that view.
I don't have the budget or mandate to bring slivers of Elysium to this
downtrodden backwater of technology. I would expect that any use of procmail...

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Fix for bug in JIT exception table allocation (no test yet)
Hi, I found a bug in the code that generates exception tables, I've attached
what I think is the correct fix.
When you run out of space writing to a buffer, the buffer management code
simply stops writing at the end of the buffer. It is the responsibility of
the caller to verify that it has stayed in bounds and perform a retry with
a larger memory estimate if not. The function writing code

google databases whether I want it or not. Someone said quite some time
ago: you don't need to recruit spies anymore, just roll out "free"
services, and information will trickle to you. I am old enough to know
what collection of information on everybody leads to (Hitler Germany,
Stalin Russia, ...), but I also know that the worst lesson of history
is: people do not learn lessons of history. So, I do the best I can do:
roll out services people I work for may need, and avoid by any means
advertising google whatever myself, I just keep neutral when that
surfaces...

Dovecot Alpha 4
Hi
We've been using Dovecot as our primary IMAP and POP3 server for around
70,000 users for a couple of months now. On the whole, we've been very
pleased with the performance of Dovecot - and are extremely grateful to the
developers! However, we have had a few issues, some of which we have yet to
resolve.
We chose Dovecot because it was the only IMAP/POP3 server we could find that
