Call for testing for 3.6: password expiry?
I have tried this patch (against 3.5p1) and would very much like it to be in the OpenSSH 3.6p1 release, if possible: http://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14 On that note, I'd like the Sun BSM patch to be included also, if possible. I have it working applied to 3.5p1: http://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125 In fact, both patches work together, apparently. If I have any

Enable RSA blinding
After browsing "Remote timing attacks are practical" (Boneh & Brumley, <http://crypto.stanford.edu/~dabo/abstracts/ssl-timing.html>), I wonder if it might be a good idea to add calls to RSA_blinding_on() before the OpenSSL RSA decryption routines are invoked. The issue is not a LAN-only issue, BTW. Packet delay variation is usually higher in LANs than in WANs. -- Florian

simple question on asterisk
Hi, I am planning to deploy an asterisk installation but I need to convince a few managers that its a good idea. Theres something I don't quite understand though, I plan deploy a box on the end of 4 channel BRI ISDN and provide it an ADSL internet connection. Should a phone behind the asterisk PBX wish to call a VOIP phone number number, say an 0844 one from www.voip-user.org, would it send

Matchspy and faceting
Have been working recently on a site that classifies posts using tags in taxonomies, so a post about the Oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico might be tagged 'Subscribers only' (access level), 'Barack Obama' (person), 'Tony Hayward' (person), 'BP' (company), 'Transocean' (company), 'Gulf of Mexico' (location). With some advice from Richard Boulton I started looking at using the Matchspy branch for calculating facet suggestions. I have used the stringlistserialiser to place a list of all the ta...

I would like to use the same setup with client-side encryption ie. between client (win98) and samba server, but have been unable to. My question is

Hi, I wish to use asterisk with asterfax to send and receive fax's over PSTN. Is this possible using a standard 56k modem? I know voice calls are impracticle because a modem cannot send and receive data at the same time, but has anybody done this using with fax? Thanks Mark
