Bonzai 3D - SketchUp with nurbs
Hi,
I use SketchUp under wine and it runs really well, so first off many thanks to all those here who helped make that happen.
Recentlly I've been looking for a SketchUp-ish app which can handle nurbs, and Bonzai3D appears to fit the bill. However, although though it currently runs under wine, menu icons are invisible.
I am neither wine nor Bonzai competent, (under the hood), but if

Summary: Serious (but harmless?) GTK warnings on Linux
Initial Comment:
Whenever any wxruby app is run, GTK throws a lot of warnings which sound serious but appear harmless. This may be an issue with Ubuntu 6.10 GTK rather than wxRuby.
For example:
(process:11017): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: gtype.c:2240: initialization assert...

snowfall: sfExport apparently harmless error
I'm running my script using mpirun -mp 4 and using snowfall+Rmpi on
Linux 64bits. I receive the following error, but apparently without
consequences on the results.
Any idea?
I'm able to reproduce it with a minimal script (below). Seems the
critical issue is the for loop. Without it no error.
Thanks for your help!

Lots of NT_STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_COLLISION errors, harmless?
Hello all,
I'm attempting to setup a small Windows network using Samba as the PDC
(and the only server involved). Clients are running Windows 7 (x86_64)
and the server is running Debian Squeeze with samba 3.5.6. For now I'm
just using tdmsam as the passwd backend.
The problem I have is that I see lots of errors involving
NT_STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_COLLISION, here's an example at login

If using something like rsyslog, it is trivial to filter out unwanted entries.

3.0.24 weird errors, harmless?
A couple weeks ago I upgraded my servers from 3.0.14a to 3.0.24. My
main server generally has about 800 to 1200 people connected to it at
any given time. Its a Solaris 8/Sparc system, samba is configured as
security = domain . Everything seems to be functioning fine, I haven't
noticed any odd behavior, haven't had any complaints.
But, a few weird errors have got me concerned.

But wine segfaults with wmplayer as soon as opening the wav file:

I started qjackctl to see what the JACK says:

valgrind complains about regex.c (PR#8043)
I think I am using objects according to the man page.
This seems to be a valid regular expression. But whether
I know what I'm doing or no, it still shouldn't be doing
what valgrind seems to be saying it's doing. (IMHO)

[LLVMdev] libLTO warning
...installation/llvm/Debug/lib/LLVMSparcCodeGen.o
/home/maurice/installation/llvm/Debug/lib/LLVMSparcAsmPrinter.o
/home/maurice/installation/llvm/Debug/lib/LLVMX86AsmPrinter.o
/home/maurice/installation/llvm/Debug/lib/LLVMX86CodeGen.o is not portable!
I haven't noticed any ill-effects. Is this a harmless warning or does it
need to be fixed?
I'm on Linux/Fedora 9, x86-64.
Kind regards,
Maurice

Whatever I do, I cannot get Shout to see the libshout so. I'm pretty sure this is an ld problem but:
bash-2.05# ldconfig -r | grep shout

orry if I'm missing something simple...happy monday.

The warnings are harmless, but regardless libLTO shouldn't be trying to
build on any platform except Darwin.
It looks like the 2.5 rebranching took place at just the wrong time and
