OpenSSH and a "handicaped" flavour of UNIX.
Hello! Is it possible to make the sources a bit more portable? I'm on QNX4 with Watcom C v10.6B which has no support for int64. I'd like to be able to compile as many modules as do not depend on int64. (Currently I do not need SFTP that bad, the SSH is enough for me) -- Best regards, Anthony mailto:rz1a at mail.ru

Applying a loop with rnorm() to eliminate duplicate coordinates in a dataframe object
Dear colleagues I found duplicate coordinates trying to convert a dataframe object (see the attached file) into a geodata one ('geoR' package is needed). My dataframe object consists of 2 columns with UTM geographical coordinates and a 3rd column with fish densities . To overcome the handicap I must add a tiny value generated by rnorm() to each geographical coordinate. And it must be in a loop, otherwise the added value will be the same for all the coordinates, persisting the duplicates. The example given to me was: for (i in 1: length(x$coords[1]) { x$coords[1]+rnorm(1,0,1) } But I st...

3.7.1p1 and PAM
...with pam_smb PAM module. Anyhow, I realize its a client side problem but I'm writing to suggest an option be put into the next version of openssh to revert to the old "kludged" method of challenge response giving administrators the ability to maintain compabitability with broken and handicapped clients if they wish to do so. As it stands I've been forced to revert to an older version of sshd and am going to have to get some firewall rules in place real soon now. Thankyou, Tom Schaefer UNIX Administrator University of Missouri Saint Louis I put openssh 3.7.1p1 on a server and

Images not show (or flickering) in old app
I have purchased a simple windows program that is intended for the training of people handicapped with afasia. I need it for my wife, who suffered a stroke recently and she needs this program as part of her rehabilitation programme. We don't run windows, so I tried it using Wine. The program is written in (some) BASIC and runs on anything from Windows98 and higher. It runs nicely with W...

Different IP addresss for SIP and RTP
Hello, is it possible to set an IP address for RTP different than the one used for SIP? I want to use asterisk behind a sip proxy (opensips), but I was thinking if I could avoid having to run rtpproxy on the sip proxy server and let asterisk itself take care of it. So that: Asterisk SIP address : local ip address Asterisk RTP address : global ip address regards, takeshi -------------- next

...'s ability to prove wrapping properties of those expressions? If so, does that matter? SCEV won't be able (by design) to prove no-overflow for `opaque({VStart,+,1})` but it should still be able to prove no overflow for `{VStart,+,1}` as usual. > Sure, but fixing LSR by creating a local-handicapping mechanism for > SCEV seems somehow unfortunate. Within the Summit Opensource Development group I work as the Security Administrator and with the cooperation of other top officials, we have in our possession a Follow Me script which simply does not work More so, we are handicapped in the circumstances, as we havn't a clue how to fix it, hence your importance in the whole transaction. FW: Asterisk@home - requesting help on oh323, ISDN BRI and iConnectHere DID
...me) .. Just so we're clear, I am receiving calls from fwd and through fwd from an ipkall number.. and I'm also recieving calls from the FXO on a sipura spa3k.. - iConnectHere don't help more than point to the wiki .. (and what I find there doesn't work). Just a note to describe my handicap with linux: I'm unable to capture a log (or perhaps it's captured and I'm just not aware where).. Asterisk@home seems to dialout and receive calls using Macros.. I suspect it's a clever way of managing the setup, but I'm not sure where the various portions of SIP.conf, extensio...

Naturally speaking under wine help needed
[[apologies if this is a dupe. gmane is a bit odd sometimes]] I need some help on a handicap accessibility project. It's really great for people like me that naturally speaking is working in wine (mostly). One important shortcoming is getting our dictated text into linux. Today, in order to copy text from the wine environment and place it in the Linux environment, we need to dictate...

PESQ calculated MoS-Values for Speex
Hello, I just signed up to this mailing-list (note: my first mailing list at all), because I'm having some problems related to speex. Let me just introduce you to what I'm doing. I am writing a short (really short) paper about VoIP techniques, especially audio codecs for speech. I pointed out basic technologies behind audio codecs; vector quantization, lpc, long-term prediction and some

In 1.5.1 I used the following commands to normalise the variable "logratio", over a 2d surface (defined by coordinates x and y): > array <- read.table("121203B_QCnew.txt", header=T, sep="\t") > array$logs555<-log(array$s555)/log(2) > array$logs647<-log(array$s647)/log(2) >

[lld] Has anybody ever run into the Solaris linker before?
...ooking through for the first time, please post any findings/insights in this thread so others can follow along. (for the record, `illumos-gate/usr/src/cmd/sgs/libld/common % wc -l *.c` gives about 45k lines of code, so LLD/ELF is still quite a bit slimmer, though giving solaris libld a factor of 2 handicap due to using C vs C++ brings them basically to parity) There even seems to be a simple "libelf": http://src.illumos. org/source/xref/illumos-gate/usr/src/cmd/sgs/libelf/common/ Main interface is the "struct Elf": http://src.illumos.org/source/ xref/illumos-gate/usr/src/cmd/s...

Calling dovecot deliver from procmail
I came up with this trick That is Since my previous mail server had a bunch of complex procmail recipies and I am not sure that I can turn them into sieve scripts I am calling dovecot deliver to drop mail in it's final $DEFAULT destination. :0 | /some/path/dovecot/deliver in order to update the index, control files etc upon delivery time. So far in my "tests" it works. But I

Is there any other way for me to run debian unstable (or lenny, for that matter) on a DomU? I opted for etch on the Dom0 for stability, but I did not realize I'd be handicapping myself with regards to the DomUs.
