Samba 4 AD SmartCard Authentication Problem
Confusing. Github says that is open. Ok. My mistake. The question remains why the Windows clients allow login for an expired certificate despite a correctly loaded CRL. What is the purpose of specifying the CRL in smb.conf? It seems to me that the smartcard login is not really reliable. Then my users still have to log in with password. For now, as long as 4.19 is not yet released. Hans

Rcmd?
Hello, a short question: I cannot find the Rcmd file in the my installed Windows R Program. It is not known as a command inside R (which is not intended as I suppose) nor as an executable or similar file elsewhere? How can I make my own package? Holger -- PD Dr. habil. C code
Hello, I am new as R user. After reading the manual I did not understand one thing: Is it possible to write a stand-alone C-program (e.g. with its own GUI etc.) using R functions inside? (via the R.dll in the Windows case) I understand that it is possible to write C-code to be used inside R, which 1. do not use R-functions itself (called with .C) 2. do use R-structures inside (called with

Delete Access
...hope that this is th right place to send this mail. If not please redirect me in the right direction. My problem is silly. I want to implement samba on a file sharing server. I have already set it up and all is going well, in fact I think it's fine however my managers have issues with the in-hability to set a delete access to a share, like you can do in OS2. This is not trying to prevent malicious attacks, as the people will have write access to the files but they want to stop "I drop all my file into the recycle bin and then emptied it" errors. In resume They want to deny the user...

directives to explicitely exclude objects from import into namespaces
Hi, recently R CMD check --as-cran has noticed some more issues with package namespace imports with the recommended remedy to use importFrom() and friends. In my case, there was only a conflict restricted to some few imports, while I would prefer to still import all the non-conflicting objects, methods, and classes of the respective package namespace. So would it be possible to have some new

Mail restore and single storage attachement
...an old installation of Dovecot/postfix mail system for my lab. Also add instructions about how to create a FAT image... and maybe add the hability to craft it with IsoLinux/SysLinux/syslinux.efi instead of depending to GRUB2 or other bootloaders, ideally by piggy-back over the real ISO9660 partition (syslinux.efi is the ideal candidate to support that, but maybe it could be better a custom bootloaded that only do this task?). >> _ pre...

large sysdata.rda file --- strategies?
Hi, to speed up computations in our RobASt family of packages, we use interpolation on a grid of precomputed values which we save together with the interpolating functions (results of splinefun essentially) in sysdata.rda in the R folder of our pkg. After adding grids for some more models, this file has grown considerably, even after application of tools::resaveRdaFiles. At the moment we are at

RFC: Matrix package: Matrix products (%*%, crossprod, tcrossprod) involving "nsparseMatrix" aka sparse pattern matrices
This is a Request For Comment, also BCCed to 390 package maintainers of reverse dependencies of the Matrix package. Most users and package authors working with our 'Matrix' package will be using it for numerical computations, and so will be using "dMatrix" (d : double precision) matrix objects M, and indirectly, e.g., for M >= c will also use "lMatrix" (l:

Hello, I work at SmarctJog.com, we have here some patches on IceCast for performance and reliability, these are mostly client/connection/source cleanups (a slave merge is underway, and some more good stuff (c)), but we'd like this to be merged in before the list gets any longer. Please find attached a list of our patches with a short desc: This one is actually not from us/me, it was found
