Sipura SP3000 question
Hi, all I finally got myself one of those SIPURA boxes. It is labeled as Linksys, but this is actually a SP3000 box. Anyway, unit has lots of configuration parameters. Not all are obvious. At the moment it registers against my *, but all the calls I do from analog phone connected to it, go to VoIP channel. As this part is still in testing, I want all the outgoing calls got to PSTN by default

spouse-friendly spa-3000 pstn interface
...to register with asterisk via sip using a second sip.conf entry (extn 2222). PSTN User, defined PSTN Ring Thru Line 1 Ring Settings as "1". In Line 1, defined Gateway Account #1 to point to asterisk, and created a dialplan entry like: (*xx|81xxx.<:@gw1>|3xxx<:@gw1>|0<:@gw0>|[2-9]11<:@gw0>|xxxxxx.<:@gw0>) Note: gw0 defaults to the pstn line per the spa-3000 doc. Result: 1. If asterisk is down for any reason, all incoming pstn home calls still ring through to the analog house phones. 2. Incoming pstn calls ring through to the house phones without any a...

spa-3000 review?
Since the 3000 has been out for a little while, has anyone done a review of the product? (couldn't find anything on google for wiki). Can the fxo and fxs ports be used as two independent channels? Is it really read for prime time? Etc. Rich

...ting, I want all the outgoing calls got to > PSTN by default and dial, say 0, to get an "outside VoIP line". > I would like to do it as part of SP3000 configuration, not as part of > * dialplan. Can someone help me? I use the following dialplan within the Sipura: ([2-79]11<:@gw0>|999<:@gw0>|112<:@gw0>|0[12]x.|[*x]xx.<:@gw0>|<#9,:>[*x]x.|**) Using this, all emergency numbers go directly to PSTN, all numbers starting with 01 and 02 go via VoIP, and all other numbers go through PSTN. Any number prefixed with #9 is then forced to go through VoIP, w...

SPA3000 as a replacement for X100P
...e FXO port to recognize distinctinve ring and call a different context like you can do with Zap channels? Being able to call a different extension inside the same context would be even better. 2. What about fax? Can FXO recognize fax and send it somewhere different? (Force codec, maybe just bridge gw0-gw1, etc.) 3. On the dialplan side, is there a mechanism for grouping FXO's like in Zap so I could have a pool of these. (I recognize that you probably want to go with something else for a quantity of FXO's but for the home/soho a pool could mean as little as 2 and you still want to levera...

SPA3k wired to PAP2 for echo testing
In my seemingly endless search for the cause of echo on my SPA3000, I wired it up in the following configuration: Analogue Handset <--> (FXS)SPA3000(FXO) <--> PAP2 And set the Line1 dialplan on the SPA3k to '(<:@gw0>S0)' which means that as soon as I pick up the handset I get linked straight through to the PAP2, which gives me dialtone. Even in this configuration, with my impedance settings set to the Australian standard of 220+820||120nf, and the PSTN and PAP2 echo cancellers enabled (or not, and all...

shorewall dynamic zones confusion
Hi, I''ve been successfully using shorewall in our K12 school since the 2.x days initially on Mandrake and now on Debian. Because of that my config has got quite complicated. The firewall has a working MultiISP setup with four interfaces (I''ve renamed them with udev to easy their identification): lan-if, dmz-if, snt-if and dnt-if (one of the providers (the one on dnt-if) is a DSL

Sipura-3000 IP->PSTN scenrio
Hello, I'm configured Sipura-3000 to forward IP calls to PSTN number on no answer (In User1 tab Cfwd No Ans Dest: 123456@gw0) IPPhone ---IP---> Sipura-3000 ---PSTN---> PSTN User Generally it works fine, but Sipura sends back SIP OK to IPPhone just prior to dialing to PSTN number. How to configure Sipura to detect that the remote side on PSTN picks up the phone and only then to send SIP OK back to IPPhone? Ca...

SPA-3000 call pickup behind a PABX
...On the first of these I have worked out how to get the 6* sent to the PSTN line - I had to allow the * to be dialed by changing the Dial Plan specified in "Line 1 VoIP Caller DP" on the PSTN Line tab from (xx.) to ([x#*].) but still no dice. The Line 1 dial plan includes "6*S0<:@gw0>" and from traces and various utilities I have concluded the digits are dialed to the PSTN line... Is there something else that need to be done to tell the SPA-3000 to connect after dialing? Any links or hints on working behind a PABX like this would be most welcome. I had to alter the &...

Has anyone tried using a Sipura-3000 as an FXO device for *?
I am considering using Sipura-3000s as FXO devices for my * system. Has anyone tried them in that configuration? They interest me because they need no PCI slots and therefore no drivers. I would much prefer not to have any special kernel requirements for my system. /carmi

out of HDD space - zfs degraded
Overnight I was running a zfs send | zfs receive (both within the same system / zpool). The system ran out of space, a drive went off line, and the system is degraded. This is a raidz2 array running on FreeBSD 8.1-STABLE #0: Sat Sep 18 23:43:48 EDT 2010. The following logs are also available at http://www.langille.org/tmp/zfs-space.txt <- no line wrapping This is what was running: #

Rebuild of kernel 2.6.9-67.0.20.EL failure
Hello list. I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without modifications. How did I try it? Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock ) Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee prep-out.log The build failed at the end: Processing files: kernel-xenU-devel-2.6.9-67.0.20.EL Checking
