User must change password on next logon
I have been trying to create some administration guidline to adding users
and groups in a Samba 3.0 PDC. I have most of the task documented. The
problem I run into is where can I set the attribute for a user to change
their password on next logon.
Any help is appreciated.

Creating a Centos endorsed 3rd part repo
Hi all.
I'd like to put together a small repo for Centos packages
that I build on my machine, and make them available for
other Centos users.
Are there any guidlines for creating an officially endorsed
Centos 3rd party repo please?
Kind Regards,
Keith Roberts

OpenSSH port to NetWare 6
I'm a software developer at Novell. I have been tasked with porting OpenSSH to the NetWare 6.0 OS. I would like to include my NetWare specific changes,#ifdef'd of course, in the portable releases at some point. Whom should I contact with regard to this? And are there any guidlines I can look at online to minimize any disturbance this may cause to other platforms?
Any assistance that can be provided would be appreciated.

[LLVMdev] style guidelines
Probably this has come up before... but have we considered just adopting
the Google style guidlines and maybe modifying it in some places?
They have a nice script for c++ which will check for many things.

Stable Rsync System Call!
...rsyncing from my secondary machine like so..
rsync -avz rsyncman@web1::www /www
will this call mirror everything exactly like web1.. like deleting files
that were deleted, permission changes..etc. If anybody else has some input
on a better system call be kind and send it to me.
Also, what are the guidlines rysnc uses copys a file... can I go in and
change 1 char and rsync will be pick it up on the next sync?
Thanks

Despite working at Google, and having to cope with multiple different
styles in my day-to-day work as a consequence, I would not push for this.
I think that we should focus on building some consistency of style and
formatting within the LLVM/Clang/......

...tioned that there is a bug in this method.
I was wondering whether someone could tell me where the bug is or
whether there is a better method in R to test for significance of
loadings (not the significance of the PCs).
Maybe it is not a good idea to do it at all, but I would prefer to have
some guidline for interpretation rather than making decisions
arbitrarily. I tried to look everywhere before posting here.
I would be very thankful for any help,

Custom graphing : Which package (Base, Grid or Lattice package)
...rid package which appears to have the functionality,

I'm not too sure about the lattice package.
I would be most grateful for any help on:
1. Recommendation on which package to use (base, grid or lattice ?)
2. General guidline (pref with skeleton code/stubs) on
how to proceed - I haven't written any graphing functions in R before !
3. Pointers to more information
Many Thanks in Advance

Problem with 3 interface
I apologize in advance as this is probably going to be a real ''newbie''
question...
Was running Shorewall with 2 interface, and everything worked no
problem. In my infinite quest to make things more complicated, I
thought 3 interfaces should be fun, and proceeded to set this
up...kinda. The firewall can access the net, my DMZ can as well, but
LOC can''t get anywhere.

Using a CentOS 6 Machine as a gateway/router/home server

hook it into my IPCop and and get all it's benefits.
I haven't bothered because I'm in the boonies with little traffic,
meaning less "drive-by" traffic/chance of someone trying to break in via
that route, and my security key is very long and follows all the usual
guidlines re case, numbers, etc. Everyone that I've authorized has had
to attempt multiple times to finally get in, even me, until the device
in use (IPHone, Android phone, Kindle Fire, ...) remembers a successful
access completion.
I'm very pleased with IPCop - going on near a decade by now I gues...

Asterisk core dumping on SendFax with FFA
Hi All,
I seem to have stumbled on a bit of a problem. When trying to send a fax
with Fax For Asterisk on 1.6.2.x (have tried 1.6.2.5, 1.6.2.7 and the
current svn version, with FFA 1.2 I get a core dump each time.
Here is an extract form the console:

Network and default route
I have had this problem on and off since RedHat 6, and I always worked through
it, but I thought I would ask.
When you have multiple network interfaces, how does the system determine the
default route?
Or is it the first, (or last) interface that comes up?
On the problem systems I have to add a "route add default..." statement in
some systems in the rc.local to get them to work right.

Building from a source-code library under windows
Dear All,
I have a pair of .cpp and .def file can be compiled using VC++ and works
perfectly well in S-PLUS.
I wanted to do the same for R; so I followed the guidline given in "Building
from a source-code library under Windows" as much as possible and manage to
compile them using VC++ and call it from R. But it gives different answer
from the one called from S-Plus.
I know that I did something wrong likely at the compiling procedure or the
calling fro...

RPMs
Hi,
I think my problem is related to the way i make my RPMs (i'm newbie at
this).
Two things:
1) the generated RPMs are only 1,5 kb size. That's inpossible.
2) The rpmbuild -ba zbr.spec indeed installs the software in the
building stage. That's odd, isn't it ?
Following my signature is an openssl.spec file
Any help would be appreciated.
Warm regards,
M?rio Gamito
